Wales centre Jamie Robinson has signed up for newly promoted Agen from fellow French Top 14 side Toulon.

The 30-year-old, who moved to France from Cardiff Blues last year, won the last of his 23 caps in 2007.

The Penarth man, whose international career began in 2001, will not be joined in Agen by ex-Blues team-mate Andy Powell, who has opted for Wasps.

But the eight-time French champions have recruited Argentina number eight Alejandro Campos.

Still don't get why he left the Blues, he had a great partnership going on with Jamie Roberts and was keeping Shanklin out of the team for most of the season. Guess it didn't help that he was pretty much ignored by Gatland when he was the form 13 in Wales...

Better for him than being at Toulon. I was never fond of him, seemed a bit arrogant. However, he was a good player nonetheless. Should have gone to the Dragons, as they really need a 13.
