Well, it seems that Munster got their revenge on the Scarlets but to be quite frank it hardly means anything to the Irish anyway and the Welsh couldn't be less bothered about the result.
Scarlets through to the semi finals and rested a bunch of big names.

Munster (8) 20
Tries: Horan, Murphy, Foley.
Con: O'Gara
Pen: O'Gara

Scarlets (0) 0

Munster carved out a 20-point win over their Heineken Cup conquerors the Scarlets at Musgrave Park on Saturday.

A fifth-minute try from Marcus Horan and a penalty by Ronan O'Gara had the Irish province 8-0 ahead at half-time.

That lead was extended to 13 when O'Gara's kick through fell kindly for Brian Carney and the former League star laid off for Brian Murphy to go over.

Anthony Foley forced his way over for Munster's third try which Irish fly-half O'Gara converted.

The Scarlets, with one eye on their cup semi-final date with Leicester Tigers, rested several first team regulars.

Declan Kidney also used the match to evaluate some of Munster's fringe players.

Munster stay in eighth place but are now just a point behind Glasgow and Edinburgh and three short of the fifth-placed Scarlets.

I thought they could've at least got a single point. But oh well, we won in a competition that matters more :P

was always going to be an easy win for Munster, Phil Davies didn't even bother his arse coming over.

I don't think anyone can be bitter about the attitude the Scarlets had towards the game. It's been exactly the same one that the Irish have - and still - adopt:
Heineken is all important.
