View Full Version : The traditional Sarries vs Ospreys slagging match.

Well, as we're meeting twice within two week, I thought I'd start by saying that the Ospreys are a bunch of no hopers who depend on a few old hasbeens from the Southern Hemisphere and that the players that they have right now can barely put away the likes of an emaciated England or Ireland, let alone the might of a Saracens side who are also proped up by a bunch of Southern Hemisphere hasbeens (Jack and Russell outstanding of course).

In other words: WELCOME TO THUNDERDOME OSPREYS!!!! :bana:

Lets just face it the ospreys are just better than saracens,
i dont think i need to back this statement up..

Prestwick

Thats because you can't back it up. Why? Because its rubbish.

Saracens are obviously better.

Well if you think, you are facing the majority of the (soon to be) grandslam winning wales team and a few kiwis who have apparently been playing better than them.
We will win both games, but it might be close.

What have the saracens achieved in recent years?

And the lot of you pale in comparison to the might and power that is the Tigers

(sorry, just had to get in there, before the fans of such no-hoper teams get all the fun ;) )

Oh what the hell WHAT DO I CARE! I got my tickets! You're all doomed now!

Anyone travelling to Vicarage Road? If so, I reccomend you go to Druids before and after the game. The official pub of the Sarries faithful and they'll have something laid on for fans after the game.

Ospreys by 10 is my guess

gingergenius
11-03-08, 11:15 PM
got tickets, looking forward to it.

obviously I'm not going to predict an Ospreys win, so basically it's got to be Sarries probably by 5 points.

Bring it on, the Ospreys need to come London (yeah, Watford is in London..) and get beat unlike the england f***up a few weeks ago..

Yeh, a fellow TRF'er who's shoulder you can rest your head on to cry, after you lose the game. :bleh!:

This will be your reaction after the game:

I'll see one set of you biatches at HQ on April 12th as we're already there!

Saints are playing in the big clash before the Anglo-Welsh Warmdown at the end of the day. I'll be the one decked out in black, green and gold from hair to toe.

Prestwick

Steve! Why didn't you ask me last week when I booked the tickets?! If Sarries get to the EDF finals there will be loads of tickets then and I can get a discount.

I think there may, MAY be tickets left in the North or South stands:

http://www.saracens.com/match-centre/view.php?Id=280

I'm going to be in the South Stand, I'd hurry, theres not many tickets left!

EDIT: You're going to have to register for the Saracens website.

******** to last saturday. I hope my 75 shelled out on me and my mates will be worth it on the 6th.

we badly need a 7 and a couple of centres. bergamasco would be a realistic target at 7. farrell needs to be got rid of. hmph

Prestwick
25-03-08, 10:26 PM
I'd love Alex Goode to step up to act as Jackson's understudy, a decent 7 to replace HRHRH and to poach someone like Masi and Trin Duc from the French clubs to play at center.

[/b]

or just anyone creative and pacy. All respect to Farrell as a league player, but he's too old and too injury affected to make it now. He adds nothing and you feel he's picked simply because he's Andy Farrell. We just need some verve in the centre... maybe put in a sevens type player and a Tindall type together.

How's Alex Goode coming along? I saw a England U19 game last year & he was impressive, but MotM was Andy Saull (a 7!!!). Well they just won a grand slam so...

Prestwick
26-03-08, 01:01 AM
Andy Saul is going to be the next number seven after Tom Croft is done and dusted, we'll see him pwning Southern Hemisphere noobs in World Cup Japan, 2015.

Alex Goode has had an assured set of performances at U20 level and I think its criminal that the Gaffer hasn't picked him for the bench to be Jackson's proper understudy.

After looking at what is already on this page I am going to use it as a place to talk about Saracens. I watched the Ireland/England U20 match and Sarries are lucky to have Noah Cato and Alex Goode coming through at the same time althoughh Hugo Ellis seemed to be the most promising. How is Andy K doind over there? I thought he was pretty good last year and Ireland could do worse than giving him a run in the CC this year.

Sorry guys, all this talk of inferior rugby has that effect on me.

Now then, I'm intrigued to see your little fly half, what's his name...jackson is it? Yeah, i'm looking forward to seeing him run into brick walls, throw wayward passes and kicking like a child having a tantrum again.
He was very effective last time you guys played against us.

The only thing i'm worried about is that our road to the semi finals is just a little too easy...

Refreshing humility from a Welsh supporter - not. Nothing like Munster supporters. Sarrie supporters pretend it doesn't matter, all a bit of a laugh - ho ho ho! Suckers.

Good on ya! I see both your team and mine leaving the comp at QF stage the way things are going. If Glos dont win against Munster I hope Munster make it through to the final as I have tickets and hotel rooms to flog at vastly inflated prices.I`ll be hoping Sarries win but it looks remote now Jack their best forward is out.

Prestwick
30-03-08, 12:13 PM
Danny, I've got tickets to the HEC final, if you're flogging hotel rooms, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!1212121

In reality though, Glaws losing at home is pretty remote I think although Munster have been known to spring a surprise or two away from home or even make away a home from home (if that makes any sense ) so beware!

To be honest, I'm just going to go out next weekend and enjoy the fun. Druids will be sure to lay on loads of stuff for the visiting Osprey fans so it should be fun! :D
