Hold on to your balls!
Hold on to your balls!
Double Entendre intended. If you watched the British & Irish Lions against the Royal XV one thing probably stood out: dropped balls. There were plenty of attacking opportunities ruined by handling mistakes. You can blame it on the atmospheric difference or the relatively closer distance to the sun, or the fact that the only movie shown on the flight over was Twilight, but if this problem isn't fixed, it's going to be a long tour.
I am, optimistic that this will be fixed and the boys will acclimate to the changes. I was well pleased to see the return of the rolling maul, from both sides. Oh, rolling maul, how I've missed thee. Thy power and majesty have been sorely missed over the last year. If this match was a taste of things to come, the Forwards have got to step up their game a notch. I believe South Africa will be war of attrition for the Lions.
