It doesn't to be completely honest. It needs pimping. I'd recommend Rugby League 1. It is basically a beta version but plays heaps better than RL2 in my opinion.

There is rumoured to be a World Cup version coming out around World Cup time, it might pay to wait and see what eventuates.
