French international full-back/wing Alexis Palisson has confirmed that will join Toulon next season from Brive.

23-Year-old Palisson has agreed to a two-year deal as he becomes the latest big-name acquisition for the Top 14 big-spenders.

Palisson, who has twelve Test caps and is part of Marc Lièvremont's 2011 Six Nations squad.

He will join former Wales centre Gavin Henson at Stade Felix Mayol with big heavyweights arrivals expected after the World Cup. Bakkies Botha, Matt Giteau and Rocky Elsom have all been linked with the French club.

A really, really good signing for the club. They have also signed scrumhalf Sébastien Tillous-Borde from Castres to replace Pierre Mignoni. To this day I don´t understand why TB has been left out of the French side since impressing in 2008. Both these players are impressive. The club is silencing its critics as both are French internationals. Hopefully the team can get better secondrowers.

This is yet another sign that Brive are on the verge of collapse. A quality signing for Toulon and another miss for an aging Biarritz.
