View Full Version : Round 6 - W.Force v Waratahs
The Force (ranked last) take on number 4 on the Ladder.
The Force thus far are having a dismal time of it and I doubt there will be any improvement for this game, might just be another 50 points to the Tah's.

nah, force to lose by 6... tuqiri at the sevens means force may just be competitive - even without shepherd or fava

No way the Tahs put 50 points on the Force ....... it will be competitive for the first 60 min, then we'll get blown away.
Tahs by 15
Tend to disagree on this one, the Force last week scored their tries via opurtunity created by the opposition - not any of their own, think they have a reasonible forward pack but thus far the backs havn't offered anything. If they couldn't bring out the goods against the Reds then they are goign to have no chance against the Tah's.
Even without Tuqiri you have Wendell to take his place, think this will be the game where Turinui could be really dangerous...
Please never use Turinui and dangerous in the same sentence again.
Relax bro... He's got those Maori hips mate.
Force has got punny little white fulla's...
Yeap, unfortunately for the Force, everything seems to indicate an easy win for Tahs! Can they prove otherwise? Will they remain with 0 wins after this?
They`ve shown us some improvement but still, i don`t think they are a match for Tahs - Tahs, really impressive so far!

They've probably got more black fellas in the squad than any other team in Australia.

Why? He may have only scored 7 tries last year, but that's still more than the whole reds team put togeather :P .
Yeah Sanzar but until last season you haven`t manage to beat Reds in all s12 competition (since 86)! They`ve kicked your arse 9 seasons in a row :P

No you didn't. Please find me some proof of that you sizzled dick metrosexual.
Wally`s right (huh, have i said that :D ). I tried to find some statistics but i couldn`t! For sure is one thing. Reds kicked your arses 9 times in a row in Super 12!
You were lucky to beat them this season, pure luck! Reds deserved the win!

:lol2tn: ! Are you joking? The reds always get up for the Waratahs match and summon their 'inbred' gene, but they certainly DID NOT deserve to win that match, just the same as they didn't deserve to win last year! Which is pure poetry, because the reds only have enough energy for one good match a year, and they've already used it!

In 276 interstate contests since 1882, NSW has won 177, Queensland 87 and 12 have been drawn.
We've won 90 more matches than you lot, so I'd say that the estimation of 40 years of domination isn't far off ;) .
I see SANZAR - the statistics are with you ! What can i say when it`s all there? You`re right!
P.S: Anyway, last year, in S12, you, Waratahs won, it was your first win against Reds !

Thats also a very shitty Force backline
Our boys are dropping like flies
It's bullshit... have a look at the NZ model... NPC, Super 14, National squad.
The Australian Rugby Board should have got their collective shit together and said right... we're going to rig this... every Oz side has to be balanced regardless of current contracts. Git should have been playing 1st 5 for the Force from the start.
Brumbies have got Bernie, Tah's have got Rogers, Reds sort of had Flats and the Force got who?
I think due to the NZRU the NZ Super 14 teams have tried to balance out key players into different teams... Crusaders have Carter, Highlanders had Evans, Canes have Dave, it goes down hill from here... Chiefs have got Donald and the Blues have got that useless prick. BUT the idea of balancing out your squads is there.

Were you born retarded? I was arguing Queensland didn't lose 40 years in a row, which they didn't. I know New South Wales have always dominated us in rugby union games prior to the 1970s. This was because (1) rugby league was always the code that was played up here and (2) all the Queenslanders would go down and play for Sydney clubs and then turn out for New South Wales.
ZOMG.

Nice rebuttle, sasquash.
Haven`t you seen we wrote in the same time?
You are argueing in vain and stop finding crummy reasons! Why all QLD players choose to play in Sydney? Just for the money? Then, how come your presidents didn`t do anything to stop this exodus?
C`MON, they have over 90 wins vs you, that`s bloody lame!
And don`t give me the crap with the State of Origin, i bet they kicked your arses even there!
P.S: How do they call that: Natural born Losers?

Please don't talk shit you don't know anything about. It's a known fact that Queenslanders who had skills either went to league or to the New South Wales club competition. The whole rugby union universe in Australia revolved around Sydney, there was no QRU up until the 1970s.
As for State of Origin, you're South African, don't even go there. Queensland has usually had it over New South Wales in terms of head to head matches, until the last couple of years.
Overall, who`s got the upper hand?

Overall, who`s got the upper hand?
In rugby union (the professional era) :
Queensland
In rugby league :
New South Wales (by a series or two)
In any case, the Waratahs can now thank Queensland for their recent success, as the majority of their best players are born and bred sunshine state products.

The exact reason I don't go!! But I'm having second thoughts about going to the Bulls game!!! It will probably produce the best rugby at Subiaco this year....

If you were sitting behind the posts then you would have been atleast 40m from the try line
As i said before ,it's a great stadium where eva you sit if you wana watch the mighty Eagles play....... but for rugby unless you have side seating i'd pick Suncorp ,Aussie or Telstra anytime.

Aussie and Suncorp rock (best would have to be suncorp), but Telstra totally sucks IMO... Sound doesn't travel well and the atmosphere suffers for it. Not only that, but you're too far from the action most of the time unless you've paid through the nose for a platinum ticket.

Um, isn't Chris Latham a NSW-man? Surely Queensland should be better off with a NSW person in their side? No?
BTW I was born in NSW, now Canberran to the bone....
Canberra is in New South Wales.

Rogers just got uglier after tonights match when his nose got spread across he's face........ not pretty
Easy win for Tahs! I expected much more from Force!
I thought the Force played pretty well in parts really. The things that they are lacking (such as general skills) will improve after time. They are gaining some much needed experience at the moment.
Yeah, I actually thought the Force still showed promise in tonights match. You guys have to remember that most of these guys have played nothing like S14 level... It's not like in NZ or SA where they have the NPC and Currie Cup, which is of a standard not far off S14, over here it's just these pissy little local clubs... The ARU clearly needs to do something.

Yeah, but it's a bandaid solution... What they really need to do is start a national comp in the same vain as the NPC (or A-League) and then just keep the Sydney comp etc as a 4th teer competition.

I think Scott D (the 10) needs to move to the Brumbies. His great talent is being wasted over at the Force.
Daruda just needs someone experienced inside him or out. At the moment he isn't getting that.
