Hi Guys,
Sorry for the slackness on replying. It will be a full version, there will also be other games that aren't available on the market to play.
We'll be confirming the titles that'll be at the show in the next fortnight.
All and all it will be a great show and well worth the trip to the beautiful city of Wellington.

Stop doubting your sources? You make it sound like its something I do regularly.
Given I'm not aware of anyone coming in to play the game in the next few weeks (and certainly nobody has ever been allowed to take a copy of the game away), I think being skeptical is somewhat reasonable.
fair call muz
he's just relaying info that he is told by his supremecies
if they told fibbies or exaggerated timeframe to test the game its out of his control
if ur not presenting the game anywhere with anyone soon i guess this 'little test' or 'preplay' or even 'insight' isnt happening, until Armeggedon
after all - u are the man with the whip!!!!

anyone got any news for us?............................................... .................................
.....anyone?
Well having just gotten back to the god-less city of Melbourne after travelling around NZ for three weeks I am in the envious position of being able to report back on my experience at Armeggedon.
Firstly I was quite horrified at the hordes of pimple infested juveniles that were there. After fighting my way through the aforementioned crowds of greasy juves I finally found the rugby league display. I politely queued up and tried to ignore the little cries of pleasure that the oily ones playing the game were giving out. Before I could get my turn to play, my girlfriend, who at this stage was distinctly unhappy at being oggled at ever-increasing waves of teenage sci-fi spastics, demanded that she be taken far away from this place. What could I do I had no choice but to give up my space in the queue and leave the Event Centre. I did however kick a couple of the spotty gits on my way out. So I took the girl out to dinner at Logan Brown - the only place in Wellington that I knew would be free from all the assembled geeks.
However I did get a reasonable look at the new game and let me tell you it definitely looks the goods and Mario and all of the gang at Sidhe have really come through for all of us. Sorry that I don't have more information for you as I didn't get to play the game and it is hard to tell how good the game is until I do but it looks real pretty and everyone who played it while I was there looked to be impressed by what they were experiencing.
I actually know Mario from the mis-spent days of my youth - he has a couple of years on me but I knew who he was when I was growing up. He is a real good sort - super smart - and I know that the sequel will kick some serious arse.

Yeah it was a long queue and I was kind of sick of hanging out with teenagers all day and to be perfectly honest I can wait until the game comes out. Patience is a virtue and all that.
And I agree with Mario - I am definitely not him!
Did anyone here go and actually get to play the game surely I wasn't the only person to go!????

Yeah Wally thanks for noticing my quip about teenage geeks. It is just that I wanted to get the point across that there were more geeks there then I had ever seen in my life and that was why I left before I got a chance to play the game. Serously I don't give them much though otherwise. Also condolences on being a Red's fan - is it similar to being a Leeds United fan?
Were they geeks, or were they nerds? Big difference.
Hey guys, I just caught a segment on tv about RL2, it was at that expo thing you are all talking about, anyway it looked pretty decent there was a kick off, a couple of hits and some running with the ball. I did notice one problem still there from the last game, you know when you try to run diagonal in the opposite direction to what you are facing, instead of running in that direction the player does that weird float sideways while his legs seem to be going in the other direction, its hard to describe, but it was annoying in RL1 and resulted in you sort of having to counter steer the player to straighten him up. I know this isnt the final version of the game, but is this a problem you have noticed and intend to fix over the next few months??
I stand by my original description that they were geeks although I am sure that there was also a wide distribution of nerds but the most of them would have fitted under the geek definition.

I'm not sure, what's it like being a Leeds United fan? I should probably take offense but I'm getting tired of sticking up for Queensland.

A geek is merely somebody interested in the development of technology, and needless electronic devices. A nerd is that, and one who collects Pokemon cards (*cough* Wally *cough*) and CosPlay's.

take note Mario
I found RL1 was a pretty solid game as far as gameplay goes, there were just lots of little niggles like this, that when compounded made it a bit frustrating. I would have thought these would be the first things ironed out.

Just out of interest, where did you see this footage of RL 2?
On TV, there was a thing about armagedon or whatever its called, and they showed a brief interview with mario and some gameplay footage. I did say this in my original post. I dont know what show it was on, but it was last weekend.
Yeah Wally - you know Leeds United are a bit like the Queensland Reds - they had a good spell a long time ago but now they are cack.
Bad management, fat Australian players, poor financial acumen and unrealistic expectations all contributed to their downfall but no-one really cares. The only question that is left is just how far will they fall.
Lucky for the Reds that there is no relegation in their respective competition.
Queensland does well financially but I can't argue your other points, you're pretty much spot on.
Go Broncos!

It's a representative level competition, so unlike club comps there can't be.

Fat Aussie players? How can that be? I've never seen a soccer player with an ounce of fat on him!
Take somewhere esle please guys.
I can mention lots of representative competitions that have promotion/relegation.
Also when it comes to fat Australian football players - think Harry Kewell, Mark Bosnich, Mark Viduka.
And then of course there is Diego "Fat Boy" Maradonna. Yes yes I do realise that he isn't Australian but he is a classic example.
Cmon man, I asked you nicely, please stop wasting my time with posts unrelated to this thread, when I see a new post is added, I check it out only to find its not related! please start a your own thread and stop wasting my time.
