There are several places to go...this is 2008 and we have the internet!
I'll point you towards a few and then let you explore:
1. Wikipedia's articles on rugby:

My key advice is to just watch a load of rugby and really focus on the position you are playing.
Are you currently playing? If so, what position, and where at (what team, what country, ect...).
Ask us some more narrowed questions to get better answers, but at least there's a start for you.
