Dwayne Peel to Sale Sharks

I have heard that Wales & Lions scrum-half Dwayne Peel has agreed to join Sale from the Scarlets.

There is nothing on the Sale website, can anyone confirm.

It appears a hell of a coup if so. Thoughts?

In tandem with Hodgson, Cueto, McAlister, Lamont & Foley the Sharks can match Gloucester & Newcastle in that division now. But what does this mean for Wigglesworth?

Much like Paterson at Glouscester i would be surprised if they play him in the first team straight away. He definetely more talented than Wigglesworth but unlike him he has been out of form for a while now. But yea its a great coup for Sale if it is true.

It is a sad day for all Scarlets fans.
I think they will start him straight away, maybe test him out behind a decent pack for a change

I'd be surprised if he doesn't play well with Kingsley Jones + Phillipe Saint-Andre as coaches and with a dominant pack.
He's the best half-back in Europe on form, so hopefully this move with stronger competition for a starting place will kick his arse back into form.
