well French ppl will tend to look down on certain groups of ppl...Québécois ppl are some of the nicest ppl you'll meet, but some French folks will just look down on them coz yeah, they're like our hillbillies...our country side, heavy-accented, heavy-manered peasants...but that was just a side note.

Of course France played poorly that match, no question...I was just wondering how Rugby ppl considered les Bleus over there...

say, I got a question for you man. Regardless of your being Canadian and my being French, I know that Canadians usually have strong prejudice against the French. Probably biased because of the Québécois ppl...It is what it is...and it's not important honestly.
But I'd like to know: you mentioned smt like "the guys were very disappointed in France's performance against Tonga". What did that mean exactly ? Are Canadian Rugby fans usually inclined towards being fans of all European teams (as a descent, ancestral thing) or is it a NH connection or the style of play of France specifically or ??....(since you mentioned "the guys", it's interesting because that's like a general tendency of some sort).
