No that was the last 10 min. And Munster actually attacked the opposition and created chances that day.
Toulon scored 1 try in their last 3 games and that was the lucky one today. Its a bad day for rugby.
Toulon didn't win it, Clermont lost it. Toulon are probably the least deserving team ever to win it.
Newcastle 17 - 18 Leinster A. I think the game went to extra time and Noel Reid scored with a penalty, 1 min to go.
Lots of talk about Connacht being lucky etc. The rules are the rules. They finished higher in the league than some other teams who'll be in the HEC next season. On top of that as someone already...
Last years Ulster Leinster final didn't get much coverage outside Ireland. Thats just the way it goes. Most people like to see teams from different countries in the final.
That looks a good team ginger. They could give Newcastle a run for their money.
Some scoreline! I can't see Saracens coming back from it.
I thought I saw something too there. He was in possession of the ball though and might have just been trying to keep hold of it. I'd like to see it again.
He combined with Dardis superbly in a recent U18 competition. He is lightening quick alright and I'd like to see his times over 10m. If he is off to Leinster it would be a loss to Munster but no...
Yes it will. Pathways for young players have been created but its getting a little crowded in Irish rugby for young players to make the breakthrough.
Its been happening for a few years now....
This.
The IRFU have a player off the wage bill and another potential international player (Madigan) has more games now.
Theres such a thing as supply and demand. If Madigan wasn't there the...
Interestingly both 10s could be Irish. Stephen O'Leary from Munster is in the Canadian squad. Bourke played for an Ireland U18 side a few times from what I can remember. Never heard of Kearns though.
I'm a JW fan but Carter is hands down the better player. Its not even close. They were players like Larkham too. I've heard some great things about past players also.
I think peoples imaginations can sometimes run wild. ;)
Paddy Jackson got picked ahead of Madigan and Keatley.
David Wallace was left out of the 2003 world cup squad.
Gary Longwell was played...
I'd say they will. They might miss out on half the derbies but in the few years since the last deal the leagues value has gone up. TV audiences are up too by 25% this season, which is a massive jump....
What players do you think should have got more games?
Court has the edge in the scrums while Kilcoyne and Healy are better overall players. I believe thats why they were ahead of Court.
I said a year or two ago that it will take time for the props to come through. At that stage the provinces were actively trying to fix the scrummaging problems by picking player more suited to...
I reckon the financial benefits to the teams could increase by 200%. In other words they could get 3 times more money.
I'll explain. Skys offer is OVER 50% more than what they currently have....
It wasn't so long ago that there were threads about Irish scrums being in crisis!
+1
I'd echo everything you said there. Munster fans tend to overrate him while others clearly don't rate him at all.
Like him or not everybody has to accept that he made the most of what god...
The league is still growing. This season has produced the highest number of attendance figures and TV viewers since the league begun.
The biggest problem the league has is the over the top...
I'm not an Ulster fan but he reminds me of Matt Giteaux but faster. I havn't seen enough of him to see if his skills are up there with Giteaux's skills but he is talented no doubt.
