Saw Batman, pretty average. 6/10. Ok if you're about 15 years old.

i'm going to see it tonigh... i'm preparing myself to be disappointed!!!

sequals hardly ever beat the 1st movie... i think it was only Terminator 2 that blew the 1st movie out of the water...

The Godfather II > The Godfather. Darker, but lots more depth. It's a really interesting examination of humanity.

Wrath of Khan was way better than the first Star Trek film. So much Wrath.

Wayne's World II is a better film than the first, albeit with the exact same plot.

    Toy Story 2.

Aliens was probably slightly better than Alien.

Some would say Terminator 2 Judgement Day is better than the first Terminator, I'm not one of them but I'll accept arguments for that, I think they are both good flicks.

Saw Ted today, really funny. In parts it was like watching a live-action Family Guy episode but is that a bad thing. Plus Mila Kunis is totally gorgeous so thats good.

The trailer for the remake looks good.

First one was a great flick. I don't watch reboots for the most part especially ones made of films only 20 years old so I'll skip this new one.

On the sequels thing, I thought Airplane 2 and Naked Gun 2 was better than the first ones, which is damn rare for a comedy. Oh and Two Towers was easily the best movie out of the LOTR trilogy.

Saw the Bourne Legacy over a two day period (Bristol City Centre evacuated during attempt one) and I liked it, takes a while to get going and whilst not as good as the Damon Bourne films it is worthy of being called a Bourne film.

    TED - Loved it.

Expendables II - Action packed from the word go.

Lockout - Interesting, not a bad movie.

    Cleanskin - I enjoyed it.

Battleship - Not bad but storyline could have been better.

I said it at the time, Battleship isn't the sort of film to watch for the acting, its an hour and a half or so of fun. It's a Jaegerbomb of a film. Not subtle or particularly good but they're part of a good time

Just watched the Dark Knight Rises, and I rather enjoyed it.

Loved Bane, and weirdly enough wish the film was more about him. I always find it more interesting when they take a less known comic hero/villain and make a film based on him. That's why I am looking forward to seeing how the future X-Men films develop.

But anyways, back to the film. I too, like many struggled to understand Bane, but I had equally as much trouble understanding Batman....

Overall, a good film. Not as good as the last, as like I said before...NEEDED MORE BANE!!

I also finally got round to seeing Batman last night. Enjoyed it and it was on par with its predessors. Sadly though I found myself unfairly comparing it to Avengers as I left the theatre.

It was a lot of fun if somewhat predictable, but I must have forgotten to mention it was at one of the local Imax screens...
