I tend to sing when I'm drunk, horrible, horrible songs...
Reef - Glow.
Muse - Showbiz. Still my favourite Muse album ever.
Edit. Just started my first listen to the new Linkin Park album 'Living Things'.

I like Linkin Park's older music (new music is good too) but my favorites are still the good oldies: Faint, Numb, Crawling, In The End, One Step Closer
I've listened to it. It's worse than Thousand Suns. It's just not the LP that I love. I appreciate they want to try different sounds and whatever but if you told someone to sit down and listen to Meteora (their best imo) and this one without telling them they are the same band they wouldn't know they were by the same people

Such a lovely place... such a lovely place...
Or wait, is that house of the rising sun?
Best song ever made: Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and I mean the full 20-minute version!
Agreed. The same with the likes of UnderOath, Anberlin or Saosin. It's not blatant and they're not trying to convert or have an agenda. It gets me thinking that i should be listening to more of this kind of music over mainstream/other genres just for my social and spiritual well-being; especially after reading so much into Illuminati theories that surround most of the big, popular artists these days.
We're all dooooooooomed!

Scarily I've been listening to an awful lot of Hall & Oates lately.

They are actually the only musicians I ever liked as a chap...Everything else seemed like tuneless droning...
Got the live in Hyde Park album back many moons ago in Manchester around 2003? ..It was the job

Only like that song and Californication, haven't heard much of their other music.

Yeah Under the Bridge and Dani California or probably my favorites by them.
RHCP made some awesome music but after Californication they went the wrong way...
Their newer stuff is still pretty good, but Californication and Blood Sugar Sex Magic are by far their best albums. Californication is probably my most listened to album ever. The first album I aver bought as well. Not a fan of their very old stuff though, their selftitled album, Freaky Styley and The Uplift Mofo Party Plan are all a little weird.
Thought I'd re-listen to an album I listened to a lot in my teens, Dr. Dre - 2001. Always love listening to this album, one of my favourite Hip-Hop albums ever. Still D.R.E, What's the Difference, Forgot About Dre, and The Next Episode are awesome tracks, especially Forgot About Dre.

Hey people.
I've been hosting a radio show on University Radio for the last couple of weeks (88.3FM for anyone in the Wellington area...) on a Friday from 2pm-4pm. I've had a couple of tracks that alot of people wouldn't have heard before that I've played but now I'm at the edge of my hipster knowlege. Been looking for some good tracks but I'm at the end of my teather. If it was up to me I'd be playing non-stop Dr Hook, Billy Ocean and the Stones, but I need a few more good unknowns to fool people into thinking that I'm "with it", and my nonstop Hall & Oates is just me being ironic.
Anyway, if you've got a track that you think has slipped under the radar of popular music (although anything that you think would be appreciated by more than the niche Progressive Jazz-fusion Pirate Deathmetal fans or the hardcore gangster rap contingency would be ideal) let me know and if I use it you'll be getting mad respect to all of the 19 listeners we have. Doesn't have to be a modern track. An example may be -
