There are more teams racing for the Brennus and it is a very tough and long competition. I'll be in Asia when the Championnat resumes but should be able to watch some games thanks to the Internet.

Metro 92 is also a team that I see end up in the top 5 and may surprise us.

I was looking into taking in a few games this year and I was wondering which stadiums/games would provide the best atmosphere? Also, which would be the most affordable option?

Atmosphere is good in all stadiums...Toulon and Perpignana are certainly the most crazy ones...

The LNR has released sooner today some data about Top14 financial aspects for the season that starts on next Friday. One interesting point is the budgets of the clubs:

    Top 14 budgets:

    1 Stade Toulousain : 29,53 M (+ 1,43 M )
    2 Clermont : 20,89 M (+ 1,89 M )
    3 Stade Français : 19,28 M (- 1,72 M )
    4 Toulon : 19,05 M (+ 2,05 M )
    5 Racing-Métro 92 : 18,94 M (+ 3,04 M )
    6 Bayonne : 15,75 M (+ 3, 95 M )
    7 Biarritz : 15,39 M (+ 0,99 M )
    8 Montpellier : 15,01 M (+ 1,87 M )
    9 Perpignan : 14,08 M (+ 1,69 M )
    10 Brive : 14,05 M (- 1,95 M )
    11 Castres : 13,94 M (+ 1,54 M )
    12 Bourgoin : 10,58 M (+ 0,38 M )
    13 Agen : 9,81 M (+ 3,11 M )
    14 La Rochelle : 8,31 M (+ 2,51 M )

Most of the clubs have increased their budget bar Brive and Paris.

Next season a salary cap applies in addition to the existing rules, this cap is set to 8 M€. Another new rule is that at least 40% of the players of each club have to have gone through the French Rugby academies.

Does this mean that there is going to be major poaching from everyone outside the T14?
