    The comparison thread

Especially for all the de-railers, here is a thread just for you. If you must behave like horrible schoolchildren, get your fanboisms out between the HB and Sidhe product here while letting the mature board users talk like adults.

Go nuts, but keep it in this thread.

I think both games are gonna be awesome, instead of one rugby game we are getting 2 in one year, I'm happy.

I think that people think that this rugby website forum is all about HB studios and not about sidhe, People tend not to realise that this is named The rugby forum, i think since hb got a forum section for their own then sidhe should because they make quality rugby games.
As for who is better, i dont really judge companies to be honest. I just hope they both try their best and produce some quality rugby time so i can play it on the xbox

I think that one game may be better or they'll be similar in quality.

If only that place were to exist, it would be fantastic. I would call the forum "Sidhe Games"

I guess if this is the "Comparison Thread" then we should probably have something to compare... These are the recent screenshots that have been released from Sidhe and HB. The HB (RWC 2011) pictures are the larger ones.
IMO The pics of Rugby Challenge look a whole lot nicer... although i have a feeling that the RWC 2011 pics aren't the final product, i'm assuming it's a pretty stripped back version possibly missing some player detail and a ref

I like the graphics for rugby challenge esp. the stadium and the people. just a matter of whether the players/gameplay will be any good. RWC 2011 screenshot looks a bit like '08 but I hope its just a beta screenshot from the game.

Wow; now that are the Visuals i was expecting from HB's game since they don't have many licenses; but now it seems Rugby Challenge have more Licenses and way better Graphics/Visuals...now we just have to wait for the Gameplay.

Wow their good, still no shots of the gameplay angle but from them we needn't worry. On pitch ref as well. I can't wait for either of these games.

also this is brilliant news in the long run guys, i predicted that we may have our own pro evo v fifa war soon... ummm what does this look like???! Sidhe have got the graphics... HB might have the gameplay... might be getting a title a year, with hb and sidhe alternating, trying to out perform the other company... this could be awesome awesome!

looking at the pics, its almost embarrassing how much better rugby challenge looks.

BUT, there are a bunch of games out there that look cracking and the gameplay doesnt match up (I think most of us would take gameplay over looks in the long run?), so I think I'm going to wait and see some in game action to make my mind up.

But those photos do look pretty amazing...
If it aint broke, you're probably not trying hard enough.

I read somewhere that Hb studios had a really small budget to work with ?? I just wonder how big was Sidhe budget ? I guess the images that have been release kinda says it all.

I couldnt help but smile looking at the rugby challenge screens, they look epic. I hope for HB's sake they have got an ace up their sleeve in the graphics department; but what I care most about is which game actually plays and feels most like rugby - that's the clincher for me.

Absoloutley awesome realism from the sidhe screenshots, was expecting it to be the other way around if im honest. The only things I would criticise them on (if you can call it criticising) is in the pictures alot of the boots look the same and the scrum looks very stable and controlled. Having said that if you took a picture of a scrum it would appear stable, its only watching the scrum you realise its like two 900kg bulls smashing into eachother :P Absoloutley epic overall from Sidhe. Now to compare them with the 'exclusive first images' from HB...

No, he didn't. He said that tattoos had been added to Sonny Bill and he said that two glitches were sorted. He didn't say anything about boots.
