Gavin Henson has once again apparently disgraced himself on the flight home following a complaint by the air plane company about his conduct. The Blues board are meeting on Monday to discuss his future.

    Just about to mention this.
Don't know what to say. Just so sad to see such potential wasted with such ease.

I hope they keep him cause hes better than what we got in other positions tbh, but this looks like they got their excuse not to offer him a edal now and let him go.

Blues bosses didn't seem happy with him being there to start with, this'll be the excuse they needed to offload.

Wonder where he'd end up, if any where at all.

Peter Thomas was, Burnell and Baber have not. Especially after the training ground bust up.

Also Mama's face after last nights
    game.

The whole Blues establishment needs a massive change.
Whether it is focus just on Cardiff or try and expand their coverage, something needs to be done.

Been saying it for a while that change is needed. Not only this but B and B are not good enough coaches for the regions.

Yep, I think most on here have agreed with this for awhile.
The duo were set to fail from the start. We really aren't producing coaches. Our best national coaches ever are Kiwis.

Story emerging from yesterdays game is that Tom James is set to be leaving the region at the end of the season.

First thing needed is a good coach a top coach not two coaches who dont know their elbow from their knees.

Secondly the region the Blues cover is a lot more than Cardiff so they must for the sake of the region itself start using the clubs outside of Cardiff area because there are some cracking players out there not being picked up.

Thirdly someone to play at number 8 cause Rush is only around for another year after that we got no one at all.

Fourthly some decent props wouldnt go a miss Jones is world class but hes off Yapp is crap gald hes off leaves us with the inept scrummaging of Andrews.

Jones 😳 don't you mean Jenkins?

Ponty is linked with the Blues who have a track record of producing quality players. There's one or two there that would serve the region well.

For number 8s I suggested a few earlier in this thread or another. Blues need to sort it out. Things got to get worse before they get better.

I reckon Blues should try and bring Kinglsey Jones in in some capacity - got a number of years under his belt at Sale (with one being head coach) and has/will have a year of coaching Russia as well.

Then again, I have no idea how long Kingsley is contracted to Russia for.

Mike Ruddock could be a good option, but I think he is done with Welsh rugby ...

but whoever the coach is next season, they won't be able to do much unless there are some replacements signed for departing players, the squad for next season is beginning to look very thin with dozens of likely departures and only Tovey, Copeland and Lou Reed so far thought to be coming in

I've heard somebody I know say he hopes that they get a beating at the hands of Leinster next week so that B & B are sacked

The squad will be fine if the youngsters are blooded. The process of rebuilding like the Scarlets did a few years back is now going to be undertaken.

    Henson Rumours:

Rumour 1: Henson had a foul mouth rant on the plane at Baber calling him all the names under the sun.
Rumour 2: Henson lost his cool and had a swing at Ceri Sweeney.
Rumour 3: Henson was throwing ice cubes at players and passengers on the plane

I mostly agree, although think they need some emergency cover in a few positions. They simply have to bring in some props, because the ones there are simply not good enough. I like Hobbs, and think he could be a good player, but I'm worried that too much time is being put into Andrews, with no evidence of his scrimmaging improving at all.

I think the Blues can cope in other areas by promoting youngsters. Tom James won't be much of a loss judging on current form. Laulala's gonna be tough to replace mind.

Finding props is not as simple as some may think. WillGriff John looks a good prospect maybe a chance for him to step up. Looked decent for the U20s, but there's a big difference between the U20s and Senior rugby. Lewis Smout is another youngster the Blues have in the academy. Not heard much about him but may well be worth having a go. Harford and Trevett have hardly set the world alight. It seems that Jamie Corsi has fallen off the face of the planet and has once again disappeared a prop which once had so much potential.

Will Griff John is a big lad, but his scrummaging at U20's still leaves much to be desired. I know he is a young lad with plenty of time to develop, but he is still at least a season from semi-regular first team action.

Agree in regards to the Blues need a Turk transformation. Gonna be ugly for a few seasons, but they have some good young lads coming through.

Also, I just want to call 'Cubegate' before the Fail gets any ideas.

I doubt very much happened, but the Blues want rid and they want to deflect attention away from the shambles the coaching team are. Gav has been suspended for getting drunk and acting like a twat, but it's ok for Sweeney and James to get arrested for assaulting someone? At this point Gav is an easy target for people at the Blues with an agenda, and they know everyone else will lap i up, especially journalists who normally don't give a toss.

He just can't get along with his teammates. Take Poland for example, he kept trying to take poor Ashley Beck's ball.

something that has barely been mentioned in the Henson farce is how well Glasgow have played in beating both the Ospreys and the Cardiff Blues in recent weeks, watch this thunderous tackle on Jamie Roberts
