    Fastest XV

There's two threads on fastest players so I thought I'd do my fastest XV.

    1. Healy (strangely this could be another Healy vs Jenkins seeing he's over 30 now I'd say Healy also think I'm forgetting someone)
    2. Brits (loads of fast hookers the likes of Cronin, Ralepalle and Polotau-Nau spring to mind)
    3. Can anyone think of a fast tighthead most are over 20 stone so pretty hard to move fast
    4. Samo
    5. Croft (I know I'm cheating a bit with the locks)
    6. Ferris
    7. Ouedrago
    8. Spies
    9. Hougaard
    10. O'Connor
    11. Mvovo
    12. Fofana
    13. Kahui
    14. Ngwenya
    15. Dagg

I'm sure there's plenty I've left out. Apart from the tight 5 I've tried to pick players in positions they've at least played pretty often in. JO'C definitely counts. Btw I also tried to go for fairly well known players.

John Afoa for 3. The man has serious wheels.

Would suggest both Earls or Davies are faster than Bowe and would be equally valid shouts at 13.

    Yeah Afoa's a good pick.

I remembered and went with Kahui.

Yes, Jenkins is quicker than Healy, he chases down wingers. Bevington is quicker than Healy as well...

You mean the winger who goes for the ankle tap?

But for any excuse to post ...

    and

Note: BG8 don't get your knickers in a twist because I have not yet said Jenkins is faster.

Cipriani actually has real pace for a fly half, he should be #10

... and Bevington should be #1

Medard easily outpaces Healy but then misses the tackle so Healy moves away from him.

What other wing do you see? I'm not denying Jenkins has pace at Healy's age he was faster but now I'd say Healy's faster.

Gentlemen, gentlemen... we can't be arsed to deal with this shatfight again, so how about we just agree both are slower than Joe Marler and leave it there?

Clearly you are looking through your tainted glasses once again, Medard misses the ankle tap. He easily caught up with Healy as soon as he regained his feet.

I tried to find a clip on youtube but it's just things like "Joe Marler fight" "Joe Marler yellow card" etc.

    I know

The try against Wales U20 is not a bad showing.

    Other shouts
    Matt Mullan is seriously quick
    Joe Simpson is ridiculously quick
Ryan Kankowski has to be a shout for the back row

edit: Cymro, you did not say it, and therefore my jocular admonishment is not aimed at you.

Feel free to bask in the glory of Marler's speed though. That was an open invitation. Look at how he shaves his head into crazy patterns to get the best aerodynamic use from it!

Bevington, not showing his wheels as much.

Surprised to one has yet mentioned, Soane Tonga'uiha

Can I say anything good about Healy with out all this?

I wasn't entirely serious but why does someone go for an ankle tap? Because they don't think they'll catch the person. Healy was also slowed down by running over someone. Of course Medard probably would have caught him but Healy was a good bit faster over the first 10m at least.

Yes I'm so sorry for being so biased obviously my world XV would be:

    1. Healy
    2. Best
    3. Ross
    4. Ryan
    5. PO'C
    6. Ferris
    7. SO'B
    8. Heaslip
    9. Reddan
    10. Sexton
    11. Fitzgerald
    12. D'arcy
    13. BO'D
    14, Bowe
    15. Kearney

It's not a case of bias it's simply pace. I just don't think Jenkins is faster does that mean I think he's slow? No. These must be amazing tainted glasses as obviously they're making me see Jenkins go about 2mph and Healy running at the speed of light.

Jenkins is very talented but good god I hate him! Needlessly throwing the ball at O'Gara after the try. He's always comes across as a complete asshole in games. Lippy bastard. I'm glad Ross destroyed him on Saturday!

Strewth. If you want to debate that then clear off to the HEC match thread, nothing to do with this debate.

Dagg at 15? Ar you joking even on his club team there are faster fullbacks(maitland), chavanga can play fullback how about him. Dagg can play outhalf though whosfaster between him and joc. Joc could then go 12 as I'd say he's faster than fofana
At 9 Ben fodder might be faster than hougaard, don't know though.
    3. Census Johnson

At 5. I would have richie Gray and then stick croft at 6. Ahead of ferris.
I would have Ashley Johnson in there at 7 as well. He has some serious pace and is faster than ouedraego
