But... the kick in the World Cup Final... how did it all go wrong from there?

He didn't really play that well in the Final and it's not like it was a hard kick nay international standard kick should have slotted it.
    Soon we shall rejoice

He played very well against us.
My MoTM, kicked well (except for a shocker in the first quarter), scored two nice tries.
I was expecting his tally to be a bit higher, somewhere in the 300 points range. He has really gone downhill since his 27 drop goals in the World Cup Final.

Seems Stephen Donald's time at Bath is getting even worse ...

He threw this intercept pass in the last minute to lose the match against London Welsh 16-9.

Is he becoming a bit of a Norton-Knight figure at Bath now?

    At least Norton-Knight wasn't on Donald's wages!

I had a look on the Bath rugby forum yesterday to see what they were saying about Heathcote being called up to Scotland, and they're all fuming that they're now stuck with Donald at 10 for the AIs/Six Nations now

God, the way they spoke of the pass in the media, it was as if it was the worst pass ever thrown. That was no worse than any other intercept pass?

I mean I know that's never a good thing, but jeez, they really make a big thing out of that pass...

Last minute of the game.. Level scores , no real opportunity out wide... Gives a very very floated ball out wide.

to be fair it's the worst that I have any recollection of

London Welsh are known for their blitz defence as well, so it was a stupid move regardless.

Stephen Donald will leave Bath at the end of the season despite a year to go on his contract and will join Japanese Top League side the NEC Green Rockets.

They can always sign McAllister from Toulouse if they need an "adequate" NZ reject, sorry, replacement

Few champagne bottles being popped in Barf about now.

Just read that (apparently) Ford is going to Bath.
While that'd be a good signing as he has massive potential - they'll have two (very talented) 20yr old flyhalves and no experienced player.

Remember the Bath support crowing about their world cup winning fly-half?

    Such a long time ago...
