The Canterbury shirts are horrible.
I bought myself a Russian one and a South African one from the World Cup. Same design...

There is one beacon on light at the end of the tunnel, whilst on the Tigers shop site the pro home jersey is going for £80 http://store.leicestertigers.com/stores/tigers/products/product_details.aspx?pid=102067
it's available for £44.99 on the JJB website

The jury is out for me on the design, it reminds me of the 20/20 cup shirts versus the traditional white.![]()
That's the test jersey (as in the same ones the players wear on the pitch) for £80, the Tigers site is selling the "pro" (the fans version of the onfield kit) for £55:

So why would the "Pro" shirt be over £10 cheaper at JJB than at the Tigers site for the same jersey?
You'll always find one or two shops online that go cheaper than official shops do, as official shops tend to stick to RRP whereas online retailers tend to go a bit cheaper to get people to use them more.
JJB also own Canterbury (and Kooga) in the UK so can go cheaper and it doesn't really effect them as they don't have to pay a middleman.
I thought JD Sports owned Canterbury Europe? Or do they own JJB too?
ELI WALES: Awkward moment your hungover typo ends up in an epic nickname...
My mistake, I'm always getting those two mixed up.
Effing hate JD sports, it's just a chav pit. Nothing sports about it, they just sell rank tracksuits to dickheads.
can't stand JD either, was slightly disgusted when they bought out Canterbury![]()

JD Sports ownership explains the new Tigers shirt anyway!

I didn't even know JD Sports owned Canterbury and Kooga until now. Ugh, I don't know how to feel about wearing my old Kooga rugby shorts now.
Not a player but still loves his rugby!
Takes pictures of some of the teams too.
I'm interested in bulking up so I can start playing the game - pm me if you can help!
(Because I'm tiny!).
I think it's poo! As a Tigers fan I was looking for something different, but not THAT different!
If it aint broke, fix it 'til it is!
My teams: Leicester Tigers, Camborne, Hayle, Wath Upon Dearne, Telford Hornets and Doncaster.
I know it's only ruck n' maul, but I like it!
Shamelessly stolen image from Facebook, this will be one ugly game of sevens...

I hope the new England kit is based upon this one.
Would look stunning on Sheridan.
I didn't think Canterbury did the high collar and swirl anymore.
It's all the 'Loop 21' collar (lower neckline).
All still on their kit designer online

Fair enough. I do recall seeing some ITM kits last season with that collar, but no 'swirl'. All international (and most clubs) have the Loop 21 from what I have seen, but I can imagine the RFU can get any damn collar they want with the money the are probably putting forward.
My guess is:
Well, it can double as a cycle shirt for the Olympics. Cost cutting is in vogue these days.
where do you find that kit designer on line?
itm cup teams still have the high collar (might change this year) but the tahs in super rugby and every international team i've seem have had the loop 21 (not that i knew what it was called) collar so olyy's design is probably close. in saying that South africa was CCC's biggest name before now and they have always had somehting slightly different. still based on the same format but with tweeks you dont see on other jerseys so maybe England will get that same honour?
This is the one I used:
