Just wondering how many Sharks will hold back in fear of getting injured before the June tests
Guess it goes for all international selection across all the teams

We thought we'd win in Jo'burg last season, but failed. We lost the Currie Cup final... Nothing is certain

Man, can the Sharks hurry up and name their line-up already; I need to get my fantasy transfers in and I'm wanting to back Michalak to continue his good form against the Lions.

This is not good! We again play in Jo'burg with a second string-team. This sucks.

Chadwick, Sykes, Skeate, Ndungane... Those should not even be close to the starting XV

Relax it's only the Lions :P.

This isn't the Currie Cup, if there's any time to play a second string side it's against this pathetic excuse for a team.
Sharks will still take this by a good 15 points.

Sykes and Ndugane are pretty handy players. This is an easy 5 log points for you guys as far as I'm concerned.

Michalak into my Foxsports fantasy team, merci! Hopefully he can continue in this run of fine form.

Also, where the hell did those odds for this game come from VBookie? I mean, surely the Sharks aren't 1:5 underdogs.. still got my money in LOL. Should be a nice windfall. If it comes from an actual cash bookie, please let me know; I'll seriously put R25000 on the Sharks by 7+ if I can get those odds!!

Yeah, those are some pretty nice odds.
I need to get some cash back after Gio Aplon did me over, the little lad he is.

What do we have to do to get Reinach into the 22? We managed to get Prinsloo starting in the CC last season.
If you type it enough, it will happen.

I calculated the odds myself. I spend my time lately creating an odds calculator using previous encounters, recent games against other opponents and injuries to players as factors to calculate the odds.

Well, it was a very, very, very long project to get it working. I am proud of it and normally it works and gets perfect odds. I guess the Lions have the edge over the Sharks given the fact they had the upper hand a lot of times in recent years.

Fair enough. I just hope I can actually make a successful bet for once.
    Odds were quite nice.

    2. Bismarck du Plessis
    3. Jannie du Plessis
    4. Steven Sykes
    5. Anton Bresler
    6. Marcell Coetzee
    7. Willem Alberts
    8. Keegan Daniel (Captain)
    9. Charl McLeod
    10. Frederic Michalak
    11. Lwazi Mvovo
    12. Meyer Bosman
    13. JP Pietersen
    14. Odwa Ndungane
    15. Patrick Lambie

    Replacements

    16. Craig Burden
    17. Wiehahn Herbst
    18. Jandre Marais
    19. Ryan Kankowski
    20. Jacques Botes
    21. Marius Joubert
    22. Louis Ludik

Vastly better than the other line up. But WTF the Joubert doing there. FFS Plumtree, c'mon guy!

Crap I bet in the wrong odds, so although I want the Sharks to win with a bonus point they must do within 7 points. So, go Sharks!... but too much aye

We are seriously f'ed if McLeod/Michalak get injured and we make the playoffs.
Is it 3 or 4 matches to qualify for the playoffs.

I will be glad when Freddie returns to France. He is a good player for us, but Plumtree doesn't know how to select a 22 when he is around (5/2 splits, Lambie at fullback).
We need to put Hoffman on the bench after the break, get him some match time.

Will that matter next year when it's 23 players in the squad??

Yes, because Plumtree puts two wing forwards on the bench.

The world of John Plumtree and lazy players.
We need a massive rethink of the squad and staff over the Currie Cup.

You would think the Sharks would learn from their mistakes, having gone to Ellis Park 4 times in 2 years without winning once.

A few of the Sharks to busy thinking about being in the Boks team I think.

Odwa is the worst winger I've seen ever. No speed, no tackling ability, no vision.
