New Zealand vs Ireland 3rd test 3D simulation

We are going to use our match engine to simultate this weekends 3rd test between
    New Zealand and Ireland.

We would like you guys help provide us with player stats by filling in the players name, skills
and attributes using the template provided below.

Later in the week will gather the details from this thread and take the average of the skills and attibutes
you post, input the data and sim the match. You can then download and watch it.

You will need our match viewer application to watch the
game. You can download and install it from here.

    www.virtualrugbydynasty.com/download/static/ViewerSetup.exe

The viewer is windows only and the download is 58 mb

We will sim the match and post a download link here on Friday night for you to download and watch the match!

If you have already downloaded the viewer then you will need to download it and install again in order to
watch the game (due to a jersey udate).

I will also post a youtube vid of the highlights for those who cant use the viewer.

Reply to this thread and fill in these skills/Attributes along with the players name at the top. If you feel any of the
stats are irrelevant to a particular player the you can leave them blank. Feel free to do as many players as you like!

    Name:

    Speed ## Acceleration ## Fitness ## Agility ##
    Strength ## Injury ## Awareness ## Discipline ##
    Tackling ## Elusiveness ## Fending ## Break Tackle ##
Handling ## High Ball ## Lineout Jump ## Lineout Throw ##
    Rucking ## Scrum ## Passing ## Kicking ##
    Goal Kick ## Finesse ## Offloads ## Leadership ##

If we dont get enough input then we will fill in the leftovers
ourselves and go ahead with the sim anyway!

Any stats too over the top (e.g Dan Carter everything 100) will not be used

Oh, goody! As long as I remember, I shall do this after my (final ) exam tomorrow. For a few players, anyway (as obviously we aren't sure who will be starting, yet).

We were just going to base them on the tactics of last weeks game. But if you guys want to assume the coaching role we can use your tactics. Those of you who know how Rugby Dynasty does its tactics can give us values for those if you want. But otherwise you can just give use some verbal tactics,

e.g. I think the All Blacks will commit more numbers to the ruck

We can convert these into numbers

Yeah that's good glad you're not going for stereotypes. The only thing I'd have to say is that IMO both teams play a very balanced game of course N.Z. play the more expansive game but it's not crazy open e.g. Fiji.

Do you guys think it would be possible for people to get the players from this match as say a reward for winning a league or randomly allocated ake it more interesting I think.

Paddy Wallace should be about 15-20 points lower in strength and tacking lower kicking handling and offloads also.

Maybe on the strength but his tackling technique isn't actually bad just his size and strength often let him down though as I said in the match thread he's improved hugely this season.

How muc lower do you think he actually has brilliant hanling so I think that should stay I'd accept maybe the kicking and offloads could maybe be about 5 poinst lower.

The only part of that I'd agree with is his offloads should be lower. The rest looks about right to me.

Its full match only and you will need to download the latest version of the viewer to watch.

Get it here http://www.virtualsportdynasty.com/page1.html if you haven't already, otherwise you won't see
    the correct team jerseys.

We didn't have time to watch it before uploading so hopefully its a good match!!

Yep, bit crazy! On the whole the All Blacks stats were better than those of the Irish. I will do 10 more sims and report the Average score.

OK......not giving away the score in the real sim. But the average result of 10 sims was....
    All Blacks 36 Ireland 21
    Worth putting $5 on?

Interesting to say the least. Some stuff I agree with and other stuff not so much. Just two mistakes that aren't really debatable Kearney is dark brown/black haired not blonde and it's Trimble not Trimball.

Sorry about that BG8, we didn't realise how long it would take us to set up and didn't get a chance to check everthing 100%. Next time.
