I think his reasoning is that the Aussie conference is 'easier' than the NZ/SA conferences. It is true that the Reds would have had more wins, but they did get to play the Force, Waratahs, and Rebels twice! I certainly wouldn't describe it as a 'travesty', but I do think there are a few issues with the conference system.

Yeah fair enough it probably is easier, they did get flogged by the force, the rebels are easy granted and the tahs games are always close so i guess its not as easy as it should be but nevertheless I think if the reds make it they will deserve to be there as much as any other team that make it. Who knows the canes and the reds may not even make it though!
