Well, at least we don't have to worry about the Blues being in the play-offs anything soon with him in the starting line-up

I don't think Weepu is as bad as you all are making him out to be. He's been given a rough time all year based solely on his weight in the beginning of the year. Since then, he bounced back but the banter is still being spread around, quite sad really

Meh, if he can get his form back I'm sure it's at least in part a good thing. The only bad side is that I think Alby Mathewson is totally under rated.

weepu can weigh a ton for all I care... BUT it must just not affect his ability on the field... that all i ask...

how do we really know that his poor form this year is the result of his weight :? wasn't he this size in the WC too :? or did he pick up weight just before the final, cuz he was not himself in that game...

No surprise to see this. It was rumored that Weepu was keen to return to the Canes, but with Perenara the Canes don't really need Weepu (who I can't imagine would be happy sitting on the bench...). If he can get back to top form he will be a massive asset to the Blues - whether this happens or not remains to be seen.

I very much doubt JK will let weepu start next season the way he started this one. I dont actually think even weepu is stupid enough to do that again.
