yeah I always thought it was strange baseball had such an impact in Japan...it feels very random for a foreigner - why baseball in Japan ?!...
Anyways, the same way I always felt it was interesting Rugby Union had a place in this country. I imagine a Rugby fan in Japan is a little bit unusual, and can't imagine there's a real tradition/culture. I would imagine it's seen as a Western import still today, something that came from abroad that can be fun ? The only reason Top League is developing is because Japan is in the Pacific and receives influence from close-by Oceanic nations and people at the top saw there was good money to be made ? Is that fair ?
okay thanks. Do you feel over the last 20 years Rugby has grown in Japan, seeing how the national team became better and better and now there's Top League and the World Cup soon...? Do you feel people prefer soccer (football) or Rugby ?
I wanted to ask you how you started watching Rugby as a Japanese guy, Rugby is not as big as in the UK or France, so how did you start ?
You're my hero.
You must not be serious, LOL are you taking the ****?
