Standard transfer fee is the remaining salary. Unless you're Sale, of course.

I'd be genuinely amazed if Underhill is on 150k at Ospreys.
More likely is 50k with 100k to release him early.
He's still on his academy-into-pro contract, and still a student. Can't see him making 6 figures - I think Academy contracts are like 20-30k, so double that seems about right.

Ehm? Yeah? No? The IRFU's rules are generally decided by David Nucifora tying himself naked to a tree in a thunderstorm and listening to the will of Thor.

Oh also John Cooney to Ulster. About as good as Ulster are likely to do to be honest. Good player just not Pienaar

There 3 positions in backrow. Thats way around it although the position thing never took off.
It's more looked at now overall needs of team.

He's not listening very well then tbh.

edit: Unless Thor has it in for the Irish. Which seems eminently possible.

Heard tonight IRFU sanctioning this as Ulster look like loosing Van Der Merve and they want Henderson to be played only as a lock going forward.
So to answer it's being sanctioned with view to Irish team too

It begs the question of why the silly wazzocks didn't do this last summer rather than keeping the good general on for another year. I suppose we should be thankful that Thor has seen fit to give Nucifora some good advice. Probably be causing a tree branch to fall on his head and knock some sense into him.

@FoyChris In my #WorldofRugby column tomorrow - Johann van Graan in frame for Leicester job, possibly Meyer too (Johnno not interested, sadly!)...

What does JVG do in the Bok one source says Forwards coach, Naother says Backs coach and another says Defence coach?

Which one is he prob best at?

Yeah but I suppose IRFU see now importance of keeping provinces competitive. Have heard Pienaar issue isn't fully shut either.
Will be good for Henderson to settle on 1 position too I think

Just what Sale need, right now they've got old man Phillips slowing everything down by just not moving quickly, with Dickson they can have him slowing it all down by attempting to fly each time he gets to a ruck.
