Fionnuala McCormack accounting herself well in her 5th olympics. Wrapping up two weeks of unprecedented success in Irish sport and a great games in general and by far my favourite ever.
My athletes of the games are Wiffen, Marchand, Duplantis, Ledecky and Macintosh. Mollie O'Callaghan (basically Irish with that name tbh) coming in close. Very much showing my swimming preference!

Lavreyson has to be up there. By himself he's tied France and Australia for cycling gold medals.

Not as many golds but totals very consistent - difference between gold and bronze can be so tiny at the top level I feel like that's the better indicator when comparing games between different tournaments
feel like the British have switched to the American medal table over the last two weeks. British Cycling was was upping their total medals.
I just think the French should be more grateful that we volunteered to host their annual riots, whilst they were busy hosting the Olympics
