Very excited for these set of internationals, should be off to a good, tight game of rugby to start.

I, personally, hate both teams. Let's go.

You don’t hate us really. Remember who wanted Ireland to have the 2023 World Cup.

I expect an apology

Lads I hate a lot of teams, in fact if they speak English or Spanish, I probably hate them. Leave me alone.

I just want to talk about the weekend. I genuinely have no idea what the teams.
will look like or who's favourites.

Would have sworn that was round 3 or 4? Don't remember us being 4 to the slam and losing.
Was round 4 because we lost narrowly in France in the last game.

Really looking forward to this showdown on November 2! England and New Zealand always bring such intensity and skill to the pitch, and it's bound to be a high-stakes match. England will have to be on top of their game, especially with New Zealand's speed and tactical discipline. It'll be interesting to see how England's defense manages the All Blacks' attacking plays, especially in the breakdowns.

If England can keep up a strong defensive line and leverage their set pieces effectively, we could be in for a close contest. What are everyone's thoughts on the key players for this game? Personally, I'm keen to see how England's back row stands up against the All Blacks' physicality!

That's easy - the key players are those English players who play in France that the RFU won't select.
IMHO the 2nd-choice players on the pitch will be the point of difference between the teams on Nov 2nd.

Who's that then?

Willis the only one who's a big loss but then equally we've very good depth at 7

Farrell has stepped down from international rugby regardless of his location, same with Lawes

Marchant perhaps, especially with Slade coming off a layoff

Ludlam had dropped down the pecking order before he left, and backrow is a position of depth

Ribbans might be in with a shout with Chessum's injury but meh, he's a squad player

Sinckler had been dropped before he left

Vunipolae both worse than all other options in the EPS (and several not picked)

Don't ever remember you making a semi final either 😂

That will be playing the ABs 3 times in 4 months so it’s a bit hard to get that excited. Familiarity, contempt etc.

Plus this is a long way from being a vintage ABs so it’s not like we’re going to be seeing a generational team or a side packed with world XV players as we’ve been used to so often in the past.

Given the summer performances we should be expecting to win, possibly not by much, but anything less now would feel disappointing.

Will give the haka a miss. That hand’s been overplayed and it’s feeble governance that opponents aren’t allowed to respond to a challenge in the way they see fit.

Ok randomly we got a squad today - was anyone expecting that? Team almost entirely as expected, minus the structure of the bench.

Slade starting, with no centre or winger options seems stupid, especially with Ford probably not being 100% fit either.

Yeah, pretty much what was expected for the starting line up.

The bench does seem weird. 3 fly-halfs seems excessive in a match day squad.

Really strange bench. Do not like the 6-2 split, especially as you say with Slade & Ford returning from injury.

Otherwise it’s decent minus Spencer at 9

Agree that the 6:2 is dodgy with Slade and Ford both raw
If you're starting a Curry it should be Ben, he's been on fire this season

That said: it's all irrelevant because SPENCER IS FINALLY STARTING A TEST MATCH

3?

Is Fin Smith injured?

A 6/2 with a 10 that can only play 10 doesn't work in my opinion and having watched Leinster do it a bunch this year. An unplanned reshuffle of the backline during the game is bad, changing the 10 doing so can be calamotous.

Starting backline is as strong as I've seen England for awhile.
