Aww he's got his grumpy hat on today
Pollock ?Just cause he's a prick doesn't mean I don't think he's a good player?
If you're accusing me of being a good player - you are sadly mistaken.Just cause he's a prick doesn't mean I don't think he's a good player?
Now there's someone who emphasises Which Tyler's pointThe last time Olyy smiled was when Arundell announced he was going to France.
Are you talking about Pollock ?Just cause he's a prick doesn't mean I don't think he's a good player?
YesAre you talking about Pollock ?
Not Lowe?
Maybe, but Lawes' article about him kinda backed up what his on field personality alludes toI wouldn't describe Pollock as a prick feel like that is a bit harsh.
Have said it before: he's a player you only want on your side. As an oppo player he's a total shitbag. If he gets a regular England spot we're probably going to love him in time.I wouldn't describe Pollock as a prick feel like that is a bit harsh.
Can see how he is easy to dislike though.
Meh, idk - the celebrations and general aura seem to have cut through. A lot more of my non-rugby obsessed friends know who Henry Pollock is compared to even the likes of Curry who have been international mainstays for a while.I think what annoys me is how the media spin it's a good thing the attitude it brings in new fans
Like is it actually? No just gives them easy headlines to make

Without going to Pollock specifically, but there's a huge difference between self-confidence and arrogance. There are a lot of World Class players who quietly go about their business and let the way they play do the talking. I've never liked cocky barstewards.
To be fair I think BOD did cop a bit in his early playing days. Bleached hair and all that.Without going to Pollock specifically, but there's a huge difference between self-confidence and arrogance.
No-one could ever accuse Wilko, or Carter, or McCaw, or Jonno, or Nobody, or BoD, or... of lacking in self confidence - or of being arrogant with it.
TBH I'd even go the other way - and say that the more confident you are in your ability, the less you need to make a thing of it. The true greats carry their aura with them, they don't need to big themselves up, it's just known.
Yeah, you've got your pricks as well, your Henson, Guscott, Sexton or Campese - I'm struggling to think of one who wasn't a (slight) step down from a more humble, better player in the same position - even merely of the same era
