The whole Epstein and child trafficking / pedo thing feels like a great example of the right creating a monster they can no longer control. They encouraged this attitude of presenting opponents as part of a pedo ring when they thought the targets would be Democrats (Clinton and Obama running a pedo ring from a pizza place anyone?) Now they are unable or unwilling to deliver on the promises they made, this same base is turning on them.
It's very interesting that people who were massively into the conspiracies and given positions of power over it are all now dismissing it. To me that says it is either nothing or it is huge, I don't think it will be anything between.

Personally I don't think Vance is stupid, at least not when it comes to the academics of law. Likewise many other Republicans aren't stupid. I do think many of them are shameless, selfish and display psychopathic traits. Many appear to have absolutely zero empathy or regard for the damage they cause.
