3rd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

How dangerous is it really? Do we have a metreoligist in the house?

My rudimentary understand it its way way more likely to hit the stadium of a nearby building than a player.

I guess when your club franchises have negative value, you don't have to worry about lawsuits!

What confuses me is why is it a recent thing or have we just missed it in the past? Surely there were games with lightning around before.
With the current state of WR finances, a single lightning strike could bring down the entire system.

Then we would have to endure the Welsh, Scots, and English all root for New York Skyscrapers.

The break is interesting now- physically it helps Skelton and Tupou etc, mentally I’m not sure who benefits.

Lions look up against it here given the injuries.

Feels like Morgan and Earl might be key to unlocking any comeback.

Aus have turned up on full cylinders to be fair and got a bit more nasty - definitely fighting back today and rightfully making a mockery of some of the over the top criticism.

This could be their line in the sand ahead of their RWC build.

Lightning always takes the easiest path to the ground, so I guess depending on exactly where it strikes it could hit a player in the middle of the field.

Sounds like it is fairly recent.
Aussie comm.s just mentioned a match in RSA "a few years ago" where the stadium was hit, and they played on.
They're saying "classic South Africa" rather than "this regulation wasn't I place" also not clarifying if "a few years ago" means 2-3, or 20-30 when he was still playing
