3rd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

This is easily one of the worst lions team in living memory and there is absolutely no reason for it with the players available to choose from. Farrell has to be up there with Woodward in terms of incompetency.

A few people have said this over the tour. FWIW I disagree. Irish coach goes with a core of Irish players makes a lot of sense on form and trying to have cohesion. It was a dammed if you do dammed if you don't situation. You beat Aus 3-0 so what they were 8th in the world.

Lion's tours are hard to win that's why there's not many tour wins.

The main thing after tonight is the Aussies get to whinge more about loosing last weekend...

I don’t think the Irish core are the issue though - the vast majority deserved to be in the squad. Plus loads of recent lions coaches have done the same. It’s been the utterly shambolic selection policy throughout.

Hope Farrell will learn a but re fatigue following this. I don't think we lost tye QF of the WC for not rotating at all in the pools but it also couldn't be called intelligent coaching.

Needed to bring in a few hungry lads for this one. Sounds like a few had their minds on the beach from what I've been told.

Is anyone shocked at this result? The Lions were terrible in test 1. Nearly lost test 2 and won by a 50:50 call. And now a largely unchanged team is losing test 3. The 23 is an awful 23!
