A Political Thread pt. 2

It would be now regardless of the circumstances as children under 16 can't give legal informed consent regardless of if they said yes. I don't know about the law at the time he was 11. It would definitely abusive and immoral if arranged for him as the article seems to suggest. Legally it would depend on the laws at the time or if allegations came to light would they be tried by current laws? I'm not a legal expert as you can tell. Regardless of the legal side, definitely immoral, abusive and wrong.

However, on the flip side while it may explain his behaviour it doesn't excuse it and he certainly had zero remorse for his friendship with Epstein in that Newsnight interview.
100% agree.

Technically correct, but there are a **** ton of issues around policing this, a lot of grey areas used not to prosecuted etc..

If he was 11 and she was 15, there wouldnt be any follow through more than likely.

The law around consent is problematic, allowing officers too much say in what to follow up on, and with the added digital element it gets real murky

Pretty much Police aren't prosecuting two 13yo for USI.

I don't think I've read the age of the offender any where. Unless it was by another male it can't be rape either. Just sexual assault, with the difference in possible maximum sentence being quite big.

There would need to be a proper investigation to establish the facts. Did any responsible persons (adults) working inside the royal household broker it knowing the ages of both parties? If so they would surely be complicit. Was there any coersion or blackmail involved? Were there any cover ups?

Totally normal country

As you know I disagree with the war being framed as genocide but I absolute detest the idea of peaceful protesters being arrested for this kind of stuff. Just like the guy who was arrested, and not charged, for holding up a private eye joke.

There is 0 reason to align themselves with a group who breaking military installations...

Protests about Palestine has been happening for years and will continue to do so, but to support Palestine action knowing the consequences... well enjoy your time with Tommy Robinson.

Yeah I agree but then I disagree as well. I don’t really like Palestine for action but also think them being branded a terrorist organisation is also a bit extreme. My own view is as long as people are being peaceful and not infighting violence then all good. Don’t know the facts on this though

Do you not think being raped as an 11 year old boy might explain why he's a bit of a sex pest more, especially for younger girls?
This is here-say based interviews in a book. Who knows if it’s even true?

Bottom line is the guy is a parasite and part of a family that is ingrained themselves in the British psyche and identity.

If Tommy Robinson broken into a military installation and sprayed £7m (no clue if that's true) of damage, what would you call for from the group he was acting on behalf of?

I agree Palestine Action arent really terrorists in the traditional sense, but you cant be allowing them to break into military bases.

My point is though, why do these people need to promote Palestine action to protest on behalf of Palestine?

CND were trying to pull all sorts at Greenham Common and Faslane for years. Don't recall them ever being a prescribed terrorist group.

Could get interesting for the government if the courts over turn the ban/decision in November.

365 arrests so far, 4 for assault emergency workers. Seems like the "they can't arrest us all" tactic worked well

Starmer has had a tendency forever reacting, bypassing due process for rioters and deeming protest groups terrorists etc...

Doesn't their leader have connections with Russia? Sure I read that somewhere

Why when has he done this before?
When has he over reacted?

Suspending MPs, forgoing due process for protesters, claiming Palestine Action os a terrorist organisation, quoting Enoch Powell...

Infact, most policies hes enacted were over reactions and walked back on, I dont think ive seen so many Prime minister take so many Ls in 1 year!

No. Whens he bypassed due process for Rioters and deemed another protest group a terrorist group

So that's the reason for bombing them?
Not the number itself, the reason for bombing them is because they’re not just hospitals.

International law recognises using hospitals, schools and places of worship for military purposes (or as human shields) as a war crime which is why you are allowed to bomb those places if they are being used as such. And it is very, very odd and further proof (not that I need any personally) of what Hamas whole strategy is in this whole thing. Commit a genocidal act and then conduct a war as one big war crime and get the international world to focus on Israeli war crimes.
