Trying to use the legal system to destroy Trump. Now the legal system, military, and other means are coming back 10x
Why didn't they do the same for the two Democrats killed. That's a breach of decorum as well.

Since the two assasinations attempts on Trump, the Dems murder, has anything actually changed before now?

We have an independent legal system so using this against political opponents seems wrong on all levels.

Im not sure thats fair, there are cultural issues at play, and relevancies in the context that determine the importance, not that im claiming Kirks death as more important, its just become a more emotive story thus far.

I mean literally nobody knew the name George Floyd before he died, and well you know some of the stuff that went on then.
It's more emotive, because it's being engineered as such by Republicans with an agenda who are inserting themselves into proceedings as much as possible. I haven't seen a single elected democrat call for anything but keeping calm and expressing condolences. I have absolutely seen threats and calls for retribution from elected republicans, again well before the suspect was in custody. Trump has just said he has no interest in fixing the country or mending divides.

I don't think any elected dems called for violence or encouraged riots after the Floyd incident (in which, as a reminder a police officer, someone who is supposed to maintain peace and order murdered a black guy for using a counterfeit $20 dollar bill, not comparable in my opinion to an unaligned nutjob killing someone), and at least the outrage had a purpose and some positive outcomes - ie getting the officers involved held accountable.

Okay, next steps. Looks like massive RICO cases are coming down on left-wing groups and NGOs. That's step 1.

For Tyler Robinson, the death penalty is available in Utah, but I wonder if this gets upgraded to treasonous action due to capital murder.

We haven't had a public execution in nearly 100 years, I wonder if we have another?

Genuinely crazy, going to be fascinating reading all this back in the history books in a few decades

Why is a podcaster getting murdered treason, but the Democratic state representative murdered by a right wing domestic terrorist wasn't?

Having a look the last one in Utah was recent (within last couple of years) executed by lethal injection. The last one prior to that in Utah was some dude in 2010 who was killed by firing squad. WTF? Didn’t know that was still a thing.

Genuinely insane behaviour

The victors write the books.

He wasn't just a "podcaster". He was the single most influential political person under 35. It was him & AOC. Imagine if AOC got assassinated. What do you think the reaction would be? Do you think people would ONLY describe her as a young representative? Charlie Kirk was the leader of a movement and org. that employed 3,000+ people.

I wonder if Trump calls Macron for a favor?

Media Hassan and Illan Omar just had a fun interview criticising Kirk, and laughing about whats being said about him...

Thats going to go down well.

You've still not explained how this is treason but state representatives being assassinated is not

I'm not saying it was treason. I'm simply wondering if it will get upgraded. The clearest reason, IMO, is Charlie Kirk was the leader of a movement which the state reps were not.

Propaganda man. I didn't realize how bad it's gotten over there. The wolves have captured the sheep.

You don't have public executions for people who shoot kids

Why would they do one for a 'influencer' and 'YouTube' celebrity.
