PREM 25/26 - Round 2

IMG_7493.jpeg

Stolen from the saints fans forum but week 2 in the premiership (not prem) and we have 15 players unavailable. Probably 11 of those are first choice, then a couple of second and third.

Our injury/ bad luck curse continues and with the lions players out it doesn’t help.

So Marmion. Jordan and LRZ are no longer additional signings
Marmion has been with Bristol for over 2 years already. The scrum half replacement is Oscar Lennon, back for his 3rd stint at the Bears. I rate him a lot, just hasn't had the opening and has been busy playing in the USA, etc.

Might need a replacement 10 given other injuries in that position, especially for when Jordan returns to Scotland on international duty. BJVR is the only fit player who can step in there at the moment.

Quite low on back 3 already, again due to injuries or international duties, but some of those aren't long term so I'll be surprised about any injury cover there unless of course the sick list increases.

Speedy recovery to all.

Unavailable: Will Capon, Ellis Genge, Max Lahiff, Pedro Rubiolo, Paddy Pearce, Will Ramply, George Taylor, Fitz Harding, Santiago Grondona, Harry Randall, Sam Wolstenholme, AJ MacGinty, James Williams, Toby Baker Jack Bates, Gabriel Ibitoye, Benjamin Elizalde, Noah Heward, Rich Lane.

Assume Genge is on his lions stand-down.

McGinty out with a ruptured achilles, which at his age, might be difficult to come back from. It'd a shame if so as I thought he was going to play until he could draw a state pension like Jimmy Gopperth

Is it windy in Bath or just rain predicted?
Wind in the midlands is crazy atml

Edit: shots of the flags answer that, not quite biblical but still very grim

Double edit: upgrading it to biblical, the flags on the touchline are barely staying in the ground
