IF the genocide ends?
From what ive read IDF will pull back to a certain line? What is that?
Also, I think the next few weeks will prove incredibly important, IF the hostages are released, and IF isreal stop the advance, then quite a few pro Isreal people are going to be doing the 'I told you so' rounds.
A few big IFs to be fair.
The question is, is this a win for Isreal? Netinyahunis on record stating he wanted the hostages, AND an end to Hamas, and no threat from Gaza, that hasn't been completely done has it.

Really you want a resolution where both sides can say they won when in reality neither of them did.
Israel can claim victory by saying look we got the hostages back and have pretty much eradicated Hamas (or removed them from administrative control over Gaza) and Hamas can say look we won, October 7th has shown to work as we are getting a pathway to a Palestinian state which never would've happened if it wasn't for us. I think Hamas will need to hold onto their arms to claim a victory but there’s a long way to go for both sides at the minute anyway. I don't think anyone would be shocked if this went tits up tomorrow

How do genocides usually end? Most of them are short term successful arent they, until they complete or are forcefully ended?
There are usually a string of unintended negative consequences by the hostile, insurgence, retaliation attacks, economic struggles as you've just wiped out a portion of your workforce, political instability and international prosecutions etc...
What of these will apply to Isreal? How will Gazans view Hamas after this is all over? What will be Hamas role in a new potential Palestine?
