    Post-RWC All Blacks Team?

OK lads, I'm gonna sign off. Will be back in 4 years hopefully to enjoy a bit more rugby banter and healthy debate when we go for the 3-peat in Japan '19.

    International coach of the year

I'm not that fussed with his article - it does go on way too much and he tries to make various points which I think are irrelevant. The part I agree with is where he says "But this was a year when the sport only had one prize – the golden Webb Ellis Cup and Hansen has that in his meaty paws...

Will we see McCaw play in the AB jersey again?

I think jury is laregly out on Cane at international level simply because he hasnt had a great deal of time there to show what he can do. But as you say, people that have followed his career know he is capable enough. I wouldnt put too much emphasis on his few minutes against SA. That was...

World Cup 2019 in Japan is impossible

What language do you have the relevant information in? No doubt there are many on this forum that will be able to read and understand it!

Will we see McCaw play in the AB jersey again?

I dont think thats an issue. Tew sad if he wants to stay they will find a way to make that happen. In terms of it being an indication? who knows, it doesnt sound like he has made a decision yet, even his dad didnt seem to know (on the TV last night). #1 may well be the case. #2 though? Nah...

    World Rugby Awards Night

Cheika gets coach of the year and of course ABs get team of the year!

    International coach of the year

Boy did I get this wone wrong!! Congratulations to Cheika, he had a fantastic year, and as you said all along his efforts as a coach are evident in the improved performance of the OZ team. I stand by my comments earlier that I personally think Hansen should have got it, but clearly I was wrong...

    World Rugby Awards Night

I agree, but perhaps it comes down to which one is the best advertisment for world rugby. Savea's try has highlight reel written all over it regardless of who is watching. While Goromaru's requires some rugby knowledge to appreciate in full! Both great tries.

    Post-RWC All Blacks Team?

Yeah he will get the majority of starts at #8 I reckon. Perhaps (barring injury) Kaino, Luatua ad Ionane will share the 6 & 8 duties. As for Savea, I'm not sure he has done his AB chances much good signing on with the 7s team. He is giving Todd and Cane a massive start in pusshing for that...

    The RWC CHAMPIONS gloating thread

The brilliance of this post is that if it was written 4 years ago after the '11 RWC final you would have been hard pressed to find a post more accurate!! Love it - well done sir!!

    World Rugby Awards Night

Haha, classic, some people said it wasnt even a good try, what a joke!! FYI, Goneva's try was always gonna struggle to win the award given it didnt get nominated :) Savea's is a worthy winner mate, a fantastic try, with all sorts of skills on show. So, Try of the Year goes to Savea's...

Will we see McCaw play in the AB jersey again?

The question on everyones lips post the RWC. It wont be long before we know so what do you reckon? Will McCaw announce his retirement from test rugby? or do you think he will be back in black?

Who will take over Hansens job in 2017?

Have Foster Rennie and Smith worked together before? or was Rennie a straight swap for Foster? Perhaps if its not Foster that takes over, then Rennie might come straight in as head coach with Smith an assistant. That would provide some level of consistency right? I suspect as much as Hansens...

Nehe Milner-Skudder (NZ) takes Breakthrough Player of the Year! Very deserving I reckon!!

Who will take over Hansens job in 2017?

Yeah mate, I was gutted to hear that it looks like he will move on, but perhaps not suprised as it must be a heck of a stressful job!! As for the next coaching unit? Yeah mate I'm really not sure. I havent heard anything and havent put much thought into it. I assume they will roughly follow the...

Who will be World Player of the Year?

@austingtir How you feeling about DC now mate? Genuine question as you were one of his greatest critics on this forum, so I am wondering if his performances finally swayed you!

    International coach of the year

@sanzar @Raz Now that we've had the luxury of seeing the final play out, I wonder how you are feeling about coach of the year now? Without downplaying the fantastic season Chieka has had (or Jones for that matter), to me that final was the final piece in completeing the puzzle of Hansen...
