[2024 Six Nations] England vs Ireland - 09/03/24

Their tries were pretty impressive. Looked like a well-oiled machine.

[2024 Six Nations] England vs Ireland - 09/03/24

I've just seen the 5min highlights, looked like a good game. Did England play well?

How was Marcus Smith when he came on.

The decline of Australian rugby. Is there a way out?

We've always struggled with lack of depth, we simply don't have the players. In the 90s we did OK as it was the amatuer era, but have struggled to deal with the professional era, lack of players and lack of $$. The early 2000s we recruited some of the best players in NRL, at one point almost all...

[2024 Six Nations] England vs Ireland - 09/03/24

At what point does Borthwick get the boot? They'll probably 2/5 after the 6N, the autumn internationals, they'll be lucky to get 2/4, then the next 6N they'll be looking at 2-3/5 again.

[2024 Six Nations] England vs Ireland - 09/03/24

Yeah it's sad England will have a player like him on the wing and he'll only be used for chasing kicks. I think England are stuck between a rock and a hard place. For whatever reason, they don't have the ability to play an expansive game, if they do they'll mistakes and Ireland will win by 40...

[2024 Six Nations] Scotland vs England - 24/02/24

I think England fans want progress, some light at the end of the tunnel. England could and should have beaten Scotland and I know England are playing Ireland at home, but if they played them in Ireland, they'd go down by 30-40 points. Glimpses of good rugby, a few decent tries isn't progress...

[2024 Six Nations] Scotland vs England - 24/02/24

I don't think England's issue is players. They've got plenty of top level players. They are playing **** rugby and that's to do with coaching, strategy and a lack of confidence in themselves, the team and the coaching staff. They're lost. They don't what they're doing half the time, they've...

[2024 Six Nations] Scotland vs England - 24/02/24

The players obviously have the skills as we see them perform well at club level. But something's not right. Perhaps they are so lacking in confidence that they're scared of making mistakes, scared of trying things that might not come off. I guess what really exemplified where they're at, 5 mins...

[2024 Six Nations] Scotland vs England - 24/02/24

England just don't have the skillset the play an expansive game. If they try that against Ireland they'll get done by 40 points, they'll just make too many mistakes. So it will be back to box-kicks.. worst thing to happen to England was making the WC semis and almost making the final. It's...

[2024 Six Nations] England vs Wales - 10/02/24

I'm not even English and I'm forced to watch them play as my Dad is from England. Imagine how I feel....

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

Its a mess at the moment. If we limited Australia to two SR teams we'd still struggle to be competitive. 5? Forget about it. The resources are spread way too thin. SR needs a restructure, but I don't know what that looks like. I think the Pacific teams need to be somehow involved.

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

Great game, England were superb and played to their strengths. But it was them hanging on for dear life and defending like madmen, serious passion and commitment. But I think the right team made the final. If England made the final and the weather's good, it could be a very one-sided and dull...

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

I would say England are in a much better position than they were 6 months ago. 5 wins on the trot, albeit against tier 2 sides has given them a lot more self-belief and they generally seem to do OK at world cups. I reckon if England played SA 4 times on the trot, they would lose 3 and win 1. So...

    [RWC2023 QF3] England vs Fiji (15/10/2023)

Yeah you need to wonder with some players if their size compromises their performance. I'm sure Billy Vunipola is fit, but at 130kg surely he's sacrificing some speed and mobility. Ardie Savea is the same height, but 35kg lighter. That's a sh!tload of weight. I'd like to see Billy's fitness test...

    [RWC2023 QF3] England vs Fiji (15/10/2023)

That's what I was thinking. Watching NZ/Ire and Fra/SA both fast, high intensity games. I can't imagine England being able to handle that kind of speed.

    Goodbye

It's a very complex issue that lacks clarity, hard to interpret what is and what ism't intent and it's a ruling that in its infancy. Give it a few years there will be more consistency.

    [RWC2023 QF3] England vs Fiji (15/10/2023)

I'd have to verify this, but think the Drua players were only get $10k for the entire Super season. Australia players are getting $1 million plus and the top Fijian earner Virimi Vakatawa gets $1.8 million per year for Racing 92. Pretty hard to hold on to any decent Fijian players. I think if...

    [RWC2023 QF3] England vs Fiji (15/10/2023)

I'm beginning to think SB isn't the issue and it's simply a lack of quality players. Danny care 36, Ben Youngs 35, Farrell 32, Tuilagi 32, May 33, Daley 31. It's like a golden oldies team. There's some fundamental issue with English rugby if virtually your entire backline is in their 30s...
