    RBS 6 Nations - Ireland vs Wales - (05/02/2012 -15:00)

Well deserved by Wales. While we could have won, I think the scoreline still flattered us a bit. Rode our luck throughout that game. The ground made by Wales looked incredibly easy at times and North was phenomenal. Kidney is neutering the talent at his disposal and I fear for us going to Paris...

    Sidhe's Rugby Challenge

Got to say I'm really enjoying the game so far. Still finding my feet in it though.Gameplay seems to have good depth. The learning curve is much steeper than RWC and it takes a bit of getting used to, having been so used to HB's games. I like the rucking in that adding too many players creates...

RWC Quarter Final: Ireland - Wales (08-10-2011, 18:00)

Desperately disappointed. This is perhaps an end of an era for some of these particular Irish players. A big well done to Wales though. Thoroughly deserved and they brought a phenomenal ferocity and intensity to the game which we just couldn't live with. Was holding my breath every time Roberts...

RWC Quarter Final: Ireland - Wales (08-10-2011, 18:00)

Anything I've read has predicted a tight game. Link?

RWC Quarter Final: Ireland - Wales (08-10-2011, 18:00)

I think Ireland will take this one, but it probably won't be by much. Over the last ten years, we've beaten the Welsh more often than not and when you look at domestic rugby, aside from Connacht, the provinces don't really lose to their Welsh counterparts all that often. They usually expect to...

    The Glitch / Problem Thread

This game crashes quite a lot on me. I've noticed it happening identically twice. I have a line out in the opposition 22. Throw to front and Maul. Then take it on with a forward by pressing 'B', he goes into contact and the game crashes. To be honest I defended this game, but probably because...

    Ireland RWC 11 Thread

I'd prefer, at this stage, a backrow of: 6. SOB 7. Jennings 8. Heaslip The backrow is a real worry. Wallace has been one of Ireland's most consistent forwards for years and is a monumental loss. Heaslip has looked quite poor in these games, Jennings was disappointing in his appearance, while...

    The Glitch / Problem Thread

Have had the game freeze a good few times online when a penalty is awarded and the game has to be quit. The little ruck tactics/ defense tactics menu wouldn't come up also online. The switch player control has stopped working on occasion(moreso online). The kick-off arrow can be a bit stuttery...

I found this too. Here's my tip. Position your winger correctly and let the opposition winger take the ball uncontested. Then tackle him when he gets it. Got the oppostion winger into touch a few times doing this.

    Ireland RWC 11 Thread

These performances in the warm ups have been depressing. You have to wonder where Ireland are going to pull a performance out of. Wallace is a big loss and I really feel for the guy. I'd nearly prefer Kidney to persevere with Jennings at 7, alongside SOB and Heaslip. I'm not sure a backrow of...

    The Question Thread

To be honest, I think Sexton looks bang on. ROG not so much, especially from the side, but not too bad from the front. They don't look the same to me. Not quite sure what you mean.

    The Glitch / Problem Thread

Posted this elsewhere before this thread had been set up: While playing the demo, I took a quick throw in and the recieving player ran straight into touch by himself and then nothing happened. All of the players lined up on both sides while the clock just kept going. Had to quit the game...

Rugby World Cup 2011 Official Game

Another thing I noticed while playing the demo was when receiving the kick from the kick off. The forwards would take the ball, a maul would form and the scrum half would join the maul. Then, you couldn't play the ball at all and the opposing team would get the scrum.

Ireland - England @ New Landsdowne Road, Dublin (27-08-2011, 14:30 GMT)

I would have preferred McFadden alongside D'Arcy. He has had much less gametime in the warm ups. Also, I think at this stage Earls may be the utility back on the bench for the big games. Bowe is probably undroppable and Trimble has played himself into the first team and should be well ahead of...

Great news on the release. A bit disappointing that there's no European mention though :( Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer though.

    Ireland RWC 11 Thread

I think McLaughlin and Ryan are both average enough players, but I'm not too bothered about Ryan's selection. He won't be up against any top second rows or flankers in all probability. He'd be fourth choice lock and fourth (?) choice 6 amongst the squad anyways. I agree that McLaughlin didn't...

Ireland - England @ New Landsdowne Road, Dublin (27-08-2011, 14:30 GMT)

I think we'll pull a performance out this weekend and get a much needed win. TOL being left out would really help in this regard of course. Don't know if we could be playing better opposition next weekend. There's something about a red rose that tends to drive Irish performances up a few gears...

Ireland - England @ New Landsdowne Road, Dublin (27-08-2011, 14:30 GMT)

I think McFadden should be given a go in the midfield with BOD. ROG will probably start and as long as TOL is nowhere near the team I'll be happy enough. I'd have Fitz, Bowe and Murphy in the back three and Earls on the bench for versatility. Agree with the rest really. Hope to God that Healy's...

Ireland vs France - 20/08/2011 - RWC Warm Up

If someone had just seen the first 20 minutes of the game and the final score someone might think that Ireland had put in a great performance but were just pipped somehow by France. In truth Ireland were pretty brutal for much of that match and France didn't look too hot either. The scoreline...
