    2017 Season Discussion

Auckland's going to have a killer backline with Moala and Fekitoa. That's an international centre pairing. Then the likes of Nanai and Aso on the wings....

[2017 Super Rugby] The FINAL: Lions vs. Crusaders (05/08/2017)

Disagree, that's a red card any day in SR these days, back in the day yellow, yes, not anymore.

[2017 Super Rugby] SF2: Lions vs. Hurricanes (29/07/2017)

Yeah I'd have been more angry about the calls if the Lions played tripe and it let them win but you can't fault their 2nd half, which makes it less infuriating.

[2017 Super Rugby] SF2: Lions vs. Hurricanes (29/07/2017)

The latter 2 can be argued to the death, I'd acknowledge that. Personally Barrett was a penalty for me. The thing I don't know how you can argue is that knock on....it was obvious. His hand hit it, it went forward (hand separated) and he regathered. Then the TMO had the audacity to say no...

[2017 Super Rugby] SF2: Lions vs. Hurricanes (29/07/2017)

Wasn't deliberate though, had he not rolled away it's cynical....I really don't know what he could have done.

[2017 Super Rugby] SF2: Lions vs. Hurricanes (29/07/2017)

Had to laugh how the TMO was just silent. "Those were the angles" That was a knock on for all money.

    This is absolute BS

[2017 Super Rugby] SF1: Crusaders vs. Chiefs (29/07/2017)

Not a bad Chief squad on paper, good to see Ngatai back but still reckon that travel is gonna kill them. Will be backing the Chiefs regardless for the Canes home final.

[2017 Super Rugby] SF1: Crusaders vs. Chiefs (29/07/2017)

The travel kills the Chiefs and the Saders are full strength now too. As much as I want the Chiefs win (Canes home final), reckon the Saders get this one. So long as I can get tickets and the Canes win, I'll fly down to Christchurch for the final.

[2017 Super Rugby] QF3: Lions vs. Sharks (22/07/2017)

Ok they have home advantage but they have surely 2 NZ teams to get through to win the ***le. As bias as I am but I reckon the Canes beat them next weekend, if they don't then surely the Saders do. They looked so average tonight over a team they should have easily beaten.

[2017 Super Rugby] QF3: Lions vs. Sharks (22/07/2017)

Very tight, a neutral supporter would say the Lions still do it., especially with that try denied I'd normally be a neutral supporter but when the Sharks win means a home semi for us, you can't count me as neutral. My bet looks like a sure thing though.

[2017 Super Rugby] QF3: Lions vs. Sharks (22/07/2017)

Same!!! Have $300 on the Lions +19.5 too so it's really happy days here. I hope they schedule the semi for Saturday if the Sharks do go on to win. Have a work function on Friday night that will be oh so tempting to ditch if it is on Friday.

[2017 Super Rugby] QF3: Lions vs. Sharks (22/07/2017)

Like all other Canes fans I want the Sharks to win this (Saders' fans will want the Sharks to win too, they'll want an ensured home run). Think the Lions should do the business here though. Sharks will have to play out of their skins.

[2017 Super Rugby] QF1: Brumbies vs. Hurricanes (21/07/2017)

Agree with everything you say except regarding his defence. Basically his biggest (and arguably his only) major weakness is his defence. Not sure what the stat is but have heard 60% success rate floating around. He runs bloody good channels though and he proved that at 13 last weekend. One...

    Super Rugby : Play-off Discussion

Home advantage is huge, yes but they're more than likely going to have to get through 2 NZ teams to win the thing. You'd suspect the Canes in the semis Then either the Saders, Chiefs or Landers in the final, provided they get that far. Basically the only result NZ rugby needs is the Chiefs to...

[2017 Super Rugby] Round 18: Hurricanes vs. Crusaders (15/07/2017)

Aso (our centre) also had virus symptoms, so we moved Jordie from 15 to 13. NMS from 14 back to 15 and Goosen from the Bench to 14.

[2017 Super Rugby] Round 18: Hurricanes vs. Crusaders (15/07/2017)

Was at that one, awesome crowd and a good night for it after the rubbish weather we've had the past 3 days. Gotta say I think we got the rub of the green a bit....will take it though. When we were down 12-0 and looking terrible I thought we were in for a blowout. Came back which was good. Canes...
