Cueto: salary cap is being ignored

I think billy Vunipola would have been a great signinging for quins, such a shame he went to saracens. The signing of a Bruising TH and Lock would have been great to, I think with this would have been far more beneficial for them then signing Sackey and Kennedy and the ridiculous Nick Evans Salary!

    [2013 Premiership] Round 2

It's good to see marler at his nasty best commiting half fowls left and right. He's defo looking that 4Kg's bigger that he put on over the summer

    Startign 23 for next season

For Quins 1.Marler 2.Grey 3.PDJ (I hope he is pushed hard by Sinkler and Collier) 4.Robson (imo an underated player not the most physical but huge work rate and ball skills for a lock) 5.Kennedy 6.Robshaw 7.Wallace 8.Easter 9.Care 10.Evans 11.Monye 12.JTH 13.Hopper 14.William/stegman 15.Brown...

    Kohn & Skinner Gone

? they are both natural 4's athletic second rows that are very talented line out options that may lack a little of the bulk (the 122kg Mathews and 130kg+ Kohn) that the number 5 needs in the scrum behind the more pressured tight head.

    Kohn & Skinner Gone

I agree about Marler being a little on the small side he never seemed to gain that 4-6 Kg that most pro props do between the ages of 19-22, an off season in the gym is whats required I think. As for PDJ i really do not rate him very highly; he should be a sub for a mid level premiership team not...

    2013 Junior World Championship

Speaking of scrummaging does anyone know why Kyle Sinckler is not in the England U20 JWC squad is he too old even though he played in the 6 nations?

    England v France,23/02/13

An excuse is not a fabrication e.g Some AB supporters claimed that the AB were at a disadvantage when playing England since they had food poisoning. This is potentially a correct and valid reason but still an excuse for the AB's defeat at the hands of England. Although some excuses are...

    France v Wales, 09/02/13

Typical penalty against France at scrum

    France v Wales, 09/02/13

I agree the whole welsh front row is struggling and against second string French props

    Ireland v England, 10/02/13

I love this; English men tipping their team to win in what most agree will be a hard fought game is called arrogance. Any other nation in doing the same is put down to good natured patriotism. Hypocracy

    England v Scotland, 02/02/13

This makes no sense, usually for quins marler's second row is Robson who is 6'5 and 112 kg probably one of the smallest second rows in the premiership, Kohn almost always locks on the tighthead side

    England v Scotland, 02/02/13

Marler was clearly not a weakness in the scrum he held his own against euan murry how had big jim Hamilton behind him a feat few props could manage and there was a marked weakening of the scrum when the Vunipola came on

Overhype of "world's best" Dan Cole

A classic enraged response to say the least, no where did I state that jones offered 'nothing in the loose' I merely pointed out it was below the contribution of dan cole. (I think Jones contributes well in the loose especially given his age and size) Secondly this statement that...

Overhype of "world's best" Dan Cole

This is to the letter exactly what I think. I would also like to add the whilst jones my be a very marginally better scrummager than cole (but no better than I expect Cole to be when he hits 32) cole's loose work is unparalleled by any prop with anythinglike his set piece ability in the NH (with...

    England EPS + Saxons

I'm sorry I'm sick of this Robshaw is a '7' he is the hardest working player on the pitch every game he plays and slows down opposition ball constantly (the qualitys of a truly great open side). If he was 2-3 inches shorter 6-7 kg lighter every one would call him an 'out and out 7' but as it...

EOYT: England v New Zealand, 01/12/2012

what a good idea! but I would have it like this: 4.Launchbury 5.Parling 6.Lawes (could swap with launchburry but 6 suits his huge tackling better) 7.Robshaw 8.Morgan England have a huge amount of depth in the second and back row Parling, Lawes, Launchbury, Wood, Robshaw, Haskell, Wood...

    2013 British and Irish Lions

Haha I'd picked up on that clever tactic of glousters too. Who would you pick over cole or Adams?

    2013 British and Irish Lions

I would like to see you scrummage against any international prop after recieving a Tear to your MLC 15 minuets into the match. Why does no one acknowledge marler was injured for the majority of that match, and has actually proved he is a decent scrummager in the last 30 premiership games he has...

    2013 British and Irish Lions

Agree with this What I don't understand is why everyone thinks Adam jones is a must at tight head. What does he have over dan cole. Work rate: dan cole Ball handling:dan cole Scrummaging: every Englishman will say cole every Welshman will say jones

EOYT: England vs South Africa, 24/11/2012

I seem to remember marler being in a pack that Bullied a leicster 8 that contained the likes of dan cole and stankovich in the scrum during a recent premiership final
