    [2014 Mid-Year Tests] England

I'm surprised Daly still hasn't had a look into the EPS. The man really has a ton of class and pace to burn. He looked a cut above the rest even when he was playing for the BaaBaas last year. Anyway, if I'm allowed to fantasise about centre partnerships (and any talk of Daly is probably that...

    Manuel Tuilagi

Train one as a loosehead and one as a tighthead from birth. They will give schoolboy front rows night terrors from U9 onwards.

    Rugby '15 announced

I have the lowest of expectations. It really would be fantastic if it panned out but given the most recent record (RWC2011), the bar has been set low.

[2014 Mid-Year Tests] Crusaders vs England XV

Kind of did some **** stirring bringing up Armitage but there was some serious intent. Our choice to cycle through Billy/Morgan on the bench gives us a very specific but very predictable threat off the bench. By choosing Armitage (or Haskell) who can cover just about anywhere on the back row...

[2014 Mid-Year Tests] Crusaders vs England XV

Who is England qualified that could possibly play as a true openside but also covers no.8 for his club...?

    Tell that to Munster.

Steffon Armitage voted ERC European Player of the Year

Yes, because Steffon Armitage is totally incapable of physically dominating another player... Have you looked at him? He is almost literally a cannonball.

    [2014 Mid-Year Tests] England

And definitely an option for the first test. They laughed when I said Cipriani could come back... Time for a Steffon recall?

    Rugby training (insanity/p90x)

Honestly, I'd say it's worth trying. It may very well be too tough but frankly, when I did Insanity it kicked the crap out of me and made me a fair bit fitter, very quickly.

    Best Barbarians squad in memory?

Sweet mother of god: The Barbarians have named a group packed with international experience with England's Steffon Armitage given the nod alongside three players from France, seven from New Zealand and three from Australia. Ex-All Blacks Ali Williams, John Afoa, Carl Hayman, Hosea Gear...

    2014 U20 Six Nations

As an aside, many basktball fans do prefer to watch College Basketball because it's considered to be a better demonstration of team play rather than individual egos vying for attention in a professional world (and some of the same criticisms are leveled at the NFL) I wouldn't say rugby is so...

    England Six Nations thread

So I don't disagree that wade has been fantastic for a while now, but just on a physical level, he has more to prove than many of his competitors. Undeniably he is amazing going forward, but at his height and weight Wade really does have to prove (more so than others who can compensate with...

Why? Your threads regularly make it to more than that- don't see everyone else *****ing about it ;)

    Italy 2014 Six Nations Thread.

Let's be fair- Mauro at 9 was a dire situation that no one really wanted to happen. Still possibly the worst cap in history though (although Monye at 15 anyone?) Italy wouldn't even have needed a great fly-half to make win games, just a consistent kicker could have caused a lot of upsets. I'll...

X-Factor: What is it and who has it?

So I'd definitely agree that Quade has bags of it - but I wouldn't say that it has to be risk based. Risks only look good when they pay off XD I think a lot of it comes down to vision as well, just seeing opportunities that others don't
