    Rules/Regulation of the game

It's also important to note that by performing a normal kick, you are knocking the ball on. The law just says you need to lose the ball towards the opposition goal line. Hence why you simply need to apply common sense in these cases.

    Rules/Regulation of the game

No, there is no knock on. Apply common sense to the laws. Technically all attackers in front of the ball carrier are offside. The laws can be silly at times.

    Lions tour: Australia squad

Not enough experience to start his first ever test at #15. There's a lot of theory that goes into being a test fullback and I think that could overload his mental state on the field. Better of to bring him into the frame slowly.

ACT Brumbies v British and Irish Lions (18/06/13)

I may have a dodgy memory, but aren't people so obsessed that at one point a few years back they auctioned off parts of the millennium stadium in-goal that Shane Williams had scored on before they tore the ground up to replace it? University of Canberra Brumbies 1. Ruan Smith 2. Siliva Siliva...

June Internationals: New Zealand - France, 2nd test

The thing I love about this game is that it really is unpredictable. I think Cruden at fly half may be the difference in what should be a close game. It will be good to see how he handles the pressure at the end of some really tight test matches, he can really start owning that #10 jersey with...

    Favorite Referee

Mark Lawrence was my favorite. He had a few good innovations that have stuck around after his retirement. At the moment I'd say, Steve Walsh, Jaco Peyper, Nigel Owens and Jonathon White.

Reds v British and Irish Lions (08/06/13)

Youngs simply won the ball in the tackle. Good strength. Don't worry about a few Queenslanders calling him a cheat, you'll get that ;)

Where Can the Lions Find Competitive Games?

Last night was awesome for rugby, a bunch of amateurs getting a run against the Lions. You might not ever see that again. Australia A should have had a game, but the Baa Baa's fixture made more money. Quite simply, the Lions are a test team and should roll anyone they come up against. The Tahs...

    Free view?

I did a bit of research. The reason most big sporting events appear on Free TV is because they are required to by law. In Australia it works in a way that Free TV stations have the first bid at a big event, but if they can't show it live then cable channels can buy the rights. I think this is...

Why do Props prefer one side?

I've been out all night, and come home expecting 1 or 2 replies. Instead I get a masterclass of front row knowledge, better than any TV pseudo-expert-analysis could ever give! So in summary. Playing Tighthead/Loosehead requires vastly different skills, strengths and muscles. So the training...

Why do Props prefer one side?

This is more of a trend I notice at the elite level. But it probably happens at club level too. Why do some props call themselves "specialist" looseheads or tightheads? Is it something to do with their build that gives them a preference of where they want to play?

    Thoughts on Quade Cooper?

I think JOC should start at 10 with the usual backline. Then Quade and Izzy being the supersubs on the bench.

Just a funny ***le, the editing looks like it was done by a 12 year old Reds fan.

    Goal should have 2 bars

I have a better idea. When we reach 80 minutes. If a team gives away a penalty, the other team has the chance to "double or nothing". In which, if they elect a scrum, and win that scrum, their score gets doubled. It would definitely add to the excitement of the game. I also have another idea...

    2013 Junior World Championship

NZ and SA have their own U20 comps locally and are probably satisfied with that. Because no one wants to pay for the travel costs involved in an international competition of this sort. Any U20 tour of the region will be funded privately, not by the union involved. Sad isn't it? Hopefully someone...
