Your team's greatest XV - from the Heineken Cup era / Super Rugby era

Has anyone got an all time Melbourne Rebels team?! ;)

    London Irish sign Shontayne Hape

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, and the highest form of arrogance. Don't forget, we've had our fair share of turkeys!

Your team's greatest XV - from the Heineken Cup era / Super Rugby era

My Gloucester XV (remember I didn't start watching them til 1994): 15. Chris 'Crazy Legs' Catling 14. Philippe Saint-Andre 13. Mike Tindall 12. Terry Fanolua 11. James Simpson-Daniel 10. Ludovic Mercier 9. Andy Gommarsall 8. James Forrester/Junior Paramore 7. Kingsley Jones/Andy Hazell 6. Jake...

    Pasqualin opts for Falcons

He's had limited opportunities but when he has been given a chance, he's rarely let us down. His pass is a little high, but he's definitely young enough and I think he'll make quick progress at Falcons.

    TRF Interview Phil Vickery

VICKERY LA-LA-LA! VICKERY LA-LA-LA! Gloucester's finest professional export. The Beast didn't look so good in the third test against Vicks when he was forced to scrummage legally. Garry Pagel had a 19 year old Vickery on toast during his Glaws debut!

new in general and got some questions

Some great advice on here. You definitely sound like a centre or back row (the back row includes two flankers and a number 8). Blindside flanker would be a good position for you as it involves a lot of smashing people. Openside flanker is similar, but there's a greater emphasis on hitting the...

    Transfers rumours

Even as a staunch supporter of Lambo, and someone who's followed him since before his pro rugby days, I would never for one minute describe him as the best naturally talented 10 in the country, not now and certainly not during his time at Glaws. Stuart Barnes hyped him up when he broke onto...

    Rebels bench Cipriani for opener

What a load of rubbish! Stirling Mortlock, may be 33, but given Tindall still plays international rugby at the same age, it's a bit premature to write him off. As for your comments on Gareth Delve, you obviously never saw him Captain against Saracens, and weren't following the news prior to...

    Transfers rumours

If he were to return to Glaws, he'd definitely be 2nd choice behind Freddie Burns, who will, without doubt, be our first choice 10 next season. Tim Taylor has also impressed and is a lot more consistent than Lambo, so he may even find himself 3rd choice. I can see him ending up at Worcester...

    Transfers rumours

http://www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk/grfc/gloucesterrugby/Fly-half-Nicky-set/article-3238173-detail/article.html Yep, and offers from France apparently. Ryan Lamb to Wasps or Gloucester is also doing the rounds.

Which players deserve a Star/impact player status in 2012?

I think there should be double stars for exceptional international players and single stars for exceptional domestic players. From England, they'd have to be Dan Cole, Ben Youngs and Chris Ashton. Maybe Hartley and Foden. No way Haskell would be two stars, one maybe, but not two.

    Fastest Player

Ngwenya, Charlie Sharples, James Simpson-Daniel, Caucau. In that order.

Why this game will be poor

The most important thing is to get the squads right this time. Do the proper research, make the players realistic, don't just use a generic face shot for a non-international, mainstream player.

HB Request - Name me some unique goal kickers

Ludovic Mercier. Henry Paul used to place the ball on the T sideways, with the point facing forwards and would practically punt it over the posts! I think the recent kicking of Bergamasco for Italy with the pre-kick step is essential!

    Stars of the future?

I played colts with Ben in Gloucestershire. He's an awesome player, and I would love to see him where he belongs in Cherry & White for Glaws and the Red Rose of England!
