    New Kits 2012 Season

I actually like the Tigers kit... Also, why is the Aviva Premiership Logo on the Newcastle shirts? Bit optimistic if you ask me.

    Ben Botica signs for Harlequins

His Goal Kicking is said to be excellent, scoring from 50m out on angles. 8th top scorer in the ITM Cup last season. RE Ducky, no reason why he can't play centre, would be a shame to keep someone of his ability as a 3rd choice fly half when he could be getting game time at 12.

    Ben Botica signs for Harlequins

Accidentally created two threads... somehow. Use this one.

    Ben Botica signs for Harlequins

22 year old Ben Botica played for North Harbour in last seasons ITM Cup. He plays Centre or Fly Half. A nice signing for Quins in my opinion, will be difficult to get a starting berth over Evans, Turner-Hall or Lowe/Hopper though, so may see him as a utility back sub instead of Urdapiletta...

Lowest score during a Rugby Union match

In terms of recently, Bath drew with Quins at the stoop last season 6-6. Was a dreadful game.

    The Movie Thread

The Lincoln Lawyer - 7/10 - Quite an interesting storyline, not completely gripping and Matthew McConaughey isn't my favourite actor, but otherwise very enjoyable. Grey - 6/10 - Not bad, quite exciting on the whole but not a must see really. Still, a good film for a saturday night.

    6 Nations Player Reviews

Thanks guys, I am happy to do other countries but I feel the 6 Nations is losing its relevance already! Probably was a bit repetitive in some areas I apologise. Mite, anywhere in particular do I sound like SB? I've never actually liked him so I'm quite surprised to be compared to him.

    6 Nations Player Reviews

I know there are a few threads of this kind of nature on the forum, just wanted to have one dedicated to purely assessing the performances and the probable future of each player. I will begin by doing my opinion of England. 1. Alex Corbisiero: I must say, I had forgotten about Corbs with all...

    England becoming contenders

That's not one eyed at all, it's the right thing to do. If England want to play high-tempo expansive rugby, they need a 9 who will dictate that. At the moment, Youngs lacks too much confidence and is too predictable to be running a back line against Wales. Dickson may not be perfect, but he's on...

England Saxons vs Ireland Wolfhounds 4:30 Jan 28

My Saxons squad: 1. Nick Wood - Suprised he wasn't included in the EPS squad. England's best loosehead at the moment I think. 2. Joe Gray - Bit of a coin toss between him and Brooker, but I went for Gray because he adds speed. 3. Paul Doran-Jones - Again, Lancaster left out a top flight prop...

    Treviso - Saracens (22/01/2012, 14:00)

Yes, as I said he was mostly solid in defence. Remember he's pretty much a teenager still and is a fly half by nature, and by rule of thumb, fly halves tend to miss a few tackles now and again. So, I will stick to my words and say that he is generally still a good defender. As I said, he adds...

    England Six Nations Squad 2012

Thinking back to the Six Nations 2011, we did manage to score trys. Even with a very, very one dimensional midfield we managed to score. Yes, we would have done better and probably scored more with better centres, but we still managed to score. Therefore, I don't think having a midfield of...

    Treviso - Saracens (22/01/2012, 14:00)

Thoughts on England players in this match.. Matt Stevens - scrummaged poorly, quiet in the loose mostly, starting to panic about our tighthead options.. Mouritz Botha - good grunt work overall, some nice defense and a good line from deep to score that try. Charlie Hodgeson - some very nice...

    England Six Nations Squad 2012

Yeah I'd agree I don't think Marler's scrummaging is as bad as people make out, but still dont think he'll be ready for international level..

    Harlequins - Gloucester Rugby (14/01/2012, 18:00)

After watching that match, and even being a Quins fan all my life, I really cannot see why Turner-Hall is in the EPS squad. What would he add? He's fine on defensive, OK on the crash ball (though he tends to go in a little high sometimes and just gets taken round the legs.) I suppose his...
