    Forum speed?

Up until a few days ago I was having problems getting back to the "latest posts" section from the thread pages. At times it was necessary to bail out of the site altogether and re-enter. This was particularly noticeable on threads with a lot of pages (the recent 6N match threads were the prime...

    New Pope...

How about an Argentine in the Falklands? Anyway, at least he's from a rugby-playing country and must have boosted Argentina's chances of winning the 2015 RWC!

    France vs Scotland - 16/03/2013

Much will depend on PSA's selection. Michalak at 10 again? Scotland in with a shout. T-D at 10? Scotland might struggle to get a result

    Parisse in that case!

Change needed in scrums - Suggestions

I agree that this is a sensible approach. The scrum was supposed to be a means of restarting a game but has become a way of re-stopping it. The number of free kicks awarded for early engagement has become an embarrassment in the current 6N.

All Black Watch - Week 2

Have to agree about Luatua at 6. Very impressive.

Do SH ppl watch the 6N ?

I'd turn the concept around - as a NH resident I watched all three 6N games from last weekend. Then I watched Hurricanes v Blues and Highlanders v Chiefs. It was like watching two different sports. One set was full of errors, unimaginative attack and painfully slow recycling at the breakdown...

    Top 14 Day 18

Thanks to you both; what with Toulon creaking in recent weeks it looks like a close run-in to the play-offs. ASM could be the beneficiary?

    Top 14 Day 18

So what's with Toulouse going down at home to USAP?

    To 14 Day 16

Are Toulon creaking a bit? 15-9 over M-d-M hardly sounds convincing, especially coming after their defeat in the HC last week. Or are they just "resting"?

HEC: P5 ASM Clermont Auvergne v Exeter Chiefs

I think he was referring to Post No 3.

New Zealand get some recompense for Saturday's defeat!

EOYT: Wales vs New Zealand, 24/11/2012

The ban runs until 24 February - so he misses three games for the Highlanders as well as the England game. Apparently it was an 8-week ban but reduced to five given a number of mitigating factors including "[Hore's] daily contact with Davies since the incident". This suggests he apologised to...

EOYT: Ireland v South Africa, 11/10/2012

Ah - but didn't Jack Charlton say that as long as there was someone in the family history who owned an Irish Setter then they were Irish qualified? :)

New Stadium Design for The Pirates

The way they're going this season I don't think they really need such a stadium!

Expert report: De-power the scrum hit

Oh I dunno; there was always Clive Norling.

    Bryce Lawrence Interview

It does raise some interesting questions about the outside influence from "administrators". He was obviously not happy with that (quite rightly) so it would be interesting to know why and in what way these pressures were being applied.

Amlin Cup 2012/13: Pool Five, Round One

And it wasn't exactly a full strength Stade side. Ouch indeed.

Heineken Cup P5: Leinster vs Exeter Chiefs - 13/10/2012

Exeter are terrible. They don't deserve to be in the competition. Whereas, of course, the likes of Connacht and Zebre do.

Heineken Cup P1: Racing Métro vs Munster

That will be two weekends in a row that Paris has been overrun by the Irish. Last weekend was the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp racetrack!
