    [RWC19 Warm-Up] - New Zealand vs. Tonga

Farcical. Big fish devours minnows. How can the Pacific Islanders hope to compete when Australia and New Zealand poach their talent?

    Scrum halves and scrums

Not much has changed in the game since this thread was last updated. The crooked feeds continue unpunished. This renders the specialist roles of Hooker and Props redundant. We'll soon be seeing teams where the forwards are all centres instead of lumbering giants and scrums consigned to history...

    Scrum halves and scrums

It appears that there are a number of laws about scrums which are now no longer enforced. When was the last time you saw a ball put in straight?

2023 (expanded) Rugby World Cup for South Africa

    A well thought out post.

2014 Super Rugby: Highlanders vs. Bulls (Round 9) 11/04/2014

Has this ref never heard of the penalty try rule?

2014 Super Rugby: Lions v Reds (Round 6)

Is this guy Berry a reincarnation of Bryce Lawrence? Andre Watson should punt him forthwith. Can't believe a SA ref could be so bad. The Super XV needs neutral refs and neutral commentators.

    Must be someone else. ;)

    What constitutes a knock-on?

Was watching the ITM cup game between Northland and Taranaki when the following occurred:- A Northland player attempted to pass the ball back to a team mate who was not expecting the pass. The ball struck his knee and went forward. The ref blew for a knock-on. I have also seen knock-on called...

Super Rugby final: Chiefs - Sharks in Hamilton (04/08/2012)

Why do these commentators think it funny that a player gets clobbered by an illegal tackle? Had it been one of the Sharks on one of the Chiefs they'd have been screaming blue murder!! o

Super Rugby play-offs: Reds - Sharks in Brisbane (21/07/2012)

I'd expect that from an Aussie not from a Taffy.

Super Rugby play-offs: Reds - Sharks in Brisbane (21/07/2012)

If these Aussie commentators are such good refs why are they not out in the middle instead of sitting in a box second guessing the officials? There was nothing in the replays to convince anyone that a try had been scored.

Were the Faingaa twins conceived or knitted?

Looks like the Bulls haven't turned up yet.

Super Rugby play-offs: Crusaders - Bulls in Christchurch (21/07/2012)

When will these bl**dy commentators learn that allude is not a synonym for mention!!!

Is Kafer the one who sounds like he is choking when he speaks?

Super Rugby: Highlanders vs Chiefs in Dunedin (29/06/2012)

Thank goodness SBW is going back to NRL. NZ rugby is better off without him.

Super Rugby: Crusaders - Hurricanes in Christchurch (30/06/2012)

Unfortunately Lawrence seems to have supporters in the SANZAR and NZRU hierarchies. For some reason O'Brien and Bray seem incapable of recognising just how bad the guy really is. This performance must have been particularly bad because even the NZ media have picked up on it (something that has...

Super 15: Blues - Chiefs in Albany (02/06/2012)

That yellow and white card was a cop out. The chiefs player should have been given a red and should also be cited.
