New to URC, why are the Welsh teams struggling?

I’ve always thought the UK academy style of recruitment was flawed - it’s also very ‘what school did you go to’ and ‘which club do you play for’ We don’t have it in NZ and have picked up late-blooming talent and seem to be ok at the elite game We have an immense grass-roots network Maybe...

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

No, but I did seem some Reddit nonsense that has been passed around as if it was an actual press release.

He’s always been CWOTY every year he’s played.

But what will they do for the next 60 minutes?

    [RWC2023 SF1] Argentina vs New Zealand (20/10/2023)

Hard to do when 'the best player' is, apparently, French. If you mean an SA player, they're not fragile wee things like BOD. They can take a tackle. In the last 28 years they have lost, a lot, to NZ and we do have the advantage of neutral chefs.

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

The biggest issue with England isn’t the players, it’s with the RFU and the management of the team. They could have had Hansen or kept Eddie, who was the winningest coach they’ve ever had and only Woodward has been close in win ratio. Consistently making bad decisions is England’s trademark...

Not sure they’ve ever done that - they’re not England, ffs.

    [RWC2023 SF1] Argentina vs New Zealand (20/10/2023)

Nah, we already have that in The Championship It’s pretty funny reading this. Poms wanting SA to win because they don’t have a chance, Argies played NZ + Angus, Fra - Ire would be a better final, NZ - SA is boring, and all the other utter shite spouted. Ireland lost - get over it France lost...

Your opinion is 'a fact'? Is that how it works round here now so many people have left this place, or is that the reason?

So which 23 nations are you picking from? Going strictly by Rugby World Rankings, or your own flavour of nation selection? I'm interested to know which position the player from Russia is taking.

He’s never been nominated as player of the year, never led a victorious WC team His ‘glory’ has been limited to one 6N and a couple of Top14 championships He’s no Dan Carter

I thought it was 8am, as that’s what is on my calendar, but the official site has it at 20:00 I can see why the flat-earthers are gaining traction

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

Interesting take: the two most dynamic, most winning, most competitive teams in world rugby are a ‘boring match-up’ Two teams who’ve never won a WC getting through would be ‘great for the game’ Consider why Ireland and France have never won a WC Consider why spectators from all over the world...

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

Keeping 900% of your winning potential in reserve for the SF is a strategy so cunning you could put a brushy tail on it and call it Reynard. To be honest, I never associated ‘cunning’ and ‘Borthwick’ in the same hemisphere. Just goes to show how deeply-hidden the plucky poms have kept their RWC...
