Yeah we looked sloppy and it definitely could have been tighter. Our lineout was shocking, and our fielding of high balls equally as bad. Whenever we actually ran through some phases we seemed to cut them open, one of the rare games where kicking it usually seemed the wrong option for us.

If you look at the teams who have been penalised the most in the competition, there's three irish sides in the top 5. Also Leinster were penalised more than Leicester yesterday, so not sure it's fair to say the ref was one-sided.
I think from an Irish perspective the hope would be that the second tier would have Irish “A” teams. Compared to the old pro14 the URC has a few less matches. Irish teams have had to trim their squads in response which will probably be bad for future development of players. Could have a knock on...
