    Scottish independence referendum

100% William. And i for one never defend the Empire as though it was a saintly right of the British. But it does irk me when only the English are held accountable for the acts of the British. Maybe i didnt explain correctly but education in the form of communication is whats needed and not from...

    Scottish independence referendum

. I thought you of all people would be used to bull. I gave an example, which genuinely happened, and has repeated itself many times in my experience. If you dont like it.... i really dont give a ****e.
  4. St George

    Scottish independence referendum

Based on an example i gave an backed up with the many comments i get here from kiwis and aussies who tend to make sweeping statements about the English historically which should be attributed to the British.

    Scottish independence referendum

English hatred stems from a lack of education regarding history. An example is one such dislike of the English given by a member of this forum via another forum. He stated his Arab friend hated the English due to the Balfour Declaration on Palestine. He failed to answer when i suggested he...

    Scottish independence referendum

100% agree with the Welsh being represented on any new flag. And ive always been an advocate for recognition of Wales as a partner at cricket. Its the EWCB not just ECB. Thatcher keeps being brought up as one of the reasons for ScotsNats not wanting to be ruled by Westminster. But that was...

    Scottish independence referendum

First off i am no expert on issues relating to this Scottish independance and get most info from the media. There has been discussion here on the military "assets" being divided pro-quota, and Scootland retaining their personnel. I have seen a report where the majority of Scots soldiers a...

    Jeez forgot about him....er...er....

[2014 Mid-Year Tests] Crusaders vs England XV

I think this is a very good point, as i for one was looking forward to seeing him establish himself after the WC2011, but his injury (resulting in Robshaw becoming Capt.) has allowed Robshaw to become established instead and Woods just hasnt been the exceptional player necessary to become 1st...

[2014 Mid-Year Tests] Crusaders vs England XV

I think he was unlucky to be downgraded in the first place, as i dont think he had a poor WC. Imo we are blessed to have such varied options in the Backrow with combinations of Robshaw, Wood, Kvesic, Haskell, Morgan & Billy V.

[2014 Mid-Year Tests] Crusaders vs England XV

My 2p worth....Steffon Armitage is regarded as one of the best 7s in Europe, and Toulon played him at 8 for the HC. He still managed to win alot of ball as a traditional 7 type of player. Maybe its the job you are asked to do and not so much the number on your back?

[2014 Mid-Year Test] South Africa vs Wales (1st Test)

100% agree, but maybe next time you will quote the original poster from your country who happened to mention it. Dont get snotty with me.:p

[2014 Mid-Year Test] South Africa vs Wales (1st Test)

WTF are you on about....that comment is a well known war cry from the days of Agincourt. It has bugger all to do with the political entity established in 1707. I thought you were smarter than that Big E

[2014 Mid-Year Test] South Africa vs Wales (1st Test)

The 1st Boer War was in 1880 and the 2nd in 1899. The English stopped being a singular country in 1707. It maybe unnecessary to mention it on a sport site to you, but i get sick to death with ignorant people like yourself singling out my country in matters appertaining to all of the UK. Anglo...

[2014 Mid-Year Tests] Crusaders vs England XV

Pleased to see they both had good games, and it was the first time i have seen Pennell who i also think bodes well for the future. I believe we have some very good players alround, but we miss true World Class players in enough positions to warrant being called World beaters just yet. Time...

[2014 Mid-Year Test] South Africa vs Wales (1st Test)

Although i agree with the "empire baggage" comment, it shows the ignorance of many in that the Empire was in fact British, which also included the Welsh, Scots & Irish. As far as i know England and the Boers never had a war, and to be even more pedantic, as far as i know the British didnt have a...

[2014 Mid-Year Tests] New Zealand vs England (2nd Test)

It would be nice if next weeks game would not be marred by decisions by the officials which take up most of the analysis afterwards. IMO England have been singularly punished with regards Yellows, and the ABs are too good to go down to 14 men against them and not expect to concede...

2014 6 Nations: France vs Ireland (Round 5)
